1. When I went through my last breakup my therapist told me it would take at least (!) three months until I would be out of the “mourning stage”. You have ways to go still, friend. It’ll be ok, be patient. Have you considered doing some type of therapy? It really helped me get through it.

  2. I do have a therapist friend I talk to regularly, and she gives me some advice on what I should do, and I am implementing it slowly but surely. I know I can get past this, I could be feeling it worse because it is my first time.

  3. That is great that you have a friend like that. I will say though that a therapist friend is different from a therapist you have a professional relationship with.

  4. I will try the tartar and lime juice paste! I tried removing it with rubbing alcohol and then with vinegar but it didn’t do anything.

  5. If it's an oil/grease mark then rubbing cornstarch into it, letting it sit and then just wiping it off with a dry towel can help.

  6. The stain is fully dry. Do you think that could still work?

  7. I would highly recommend asking someone you know / see on the street with nice hair! Some of the best hairstylists on the island do hair in their homes and don’t advertise. So word of mouth through friends / acquaintances is the best way. (Unfortunately I can’t recommend mine because they don’t accept more clients)

  8. Done a bunch. Take apart sand with 80 grit then 220 put together and stain

  9. I did this. I built a top of the line pc but got depressed and put it up for free on Facebook. Thinking I don’t deserve the things that make me happy

  10. This is total nonsense. The fact that this kind of misinformation gets upvoted in this sub is just sad.

  11. I mean that the title of this post is based on ignorance.

  12. Your comment was incredibly general. You’re so condescending.

  13. I had a big one and it was one of the few pepper grinders to actually break on me. Not impressed with them.

  14. I love them all!!! I’m an LL Bean hunter too.

  15. looks like something from the 2000s or early 2010s, really high camera work

  16. I was thinking the same thing! So gorgeous.

  17. Love that! I bought my car from a dealer but I plan to keep it until it’s done for.

  18. Rather than get specific, I will just say that I really enjoy how excited people here get about finds that do absolutely nothing for me. It really shows that there is something for everyone in thrifting.

  19. Exactly!! This is why it’s doesn’t really make sense to be competitive while thrifting. We’re all different and like different things :)

  20. Yeah that’s why I’m taking a moment to celebrate it

  21. Yay! I’m rewatching RHOC. I watched it when it first came out but I think I was too young to comprehend the madness!

  22. I would highly recommend Moonstruck Chocolate!

  23. It's not real. I bought it because I really liked a tan one and I thought the print would just be erased but it hasn't budged 🙃🙃 Anyone know how to remove a metallic stamp?

  24. Real or not real it’s v cute! Have you tried rubbing alcohol?

  25. Yes! This reunion was technically a special on Watch What Happens.

  26. Hey, I was basically you 6 years ago. It’s absolutely doable, but you have to be skilled and resilient and LUCKY. I started on Upwork and via my network of former coworkers, and now nearly all of my business is word-of-mouth.

  27. Thank you so much for sharing! These are all great things for me to keep in mind that I have not thought of so I appreciate your insights.

  28. My business is basically all word of mouth. People I worked with over the years have a project come up and I get the call. I think Google ads is one of the things people more commonly hire freelancers for than take it house.

  29. That is great to know about Google ads being the most common. Thank you!

  30. Well it’s in writing now so please present your dollar sir.

  31. Lol is that the Burning Man logo on the front? This is so unhinged

  32. Oh that makes so much sense. I was trying to figure out why someone would do this. But burning man cardigan checks out.

  33. The only thing that’s worked for me is leaving the area and going to an emptier aisle so I can have my space. It might lead to missing out on some items but oh well. People invading my space really bothers me too.

  34. This is what they want. They want to see what you have your eye on. It's some lazy way of narrowing the search - not that they have any idea what your search criteria is. They see someone checking out a location and the slugs are drawn to it like a moth to a flame.

  35. I get that but I always remind myself that we’re probably not looking for the same stuff and we most likely don’t have the same taste. I usually have a list of things that I’m looking for so if I don’t find it I move on. And stuff doesn’t mean that much to me that I’m willing to compete or argue with a stranger over it.

  36. Wow this would be a very fun estate sale to peruse!

  37. I see several benchmade knives on FB marketplace

  38. Oh interesting. My posts got taken down by FB but I’ll try it again.
