1. Thrilled to have my question answered but I noticed you excluded the majority of my username. How dare you

  2. I wasn’t talking so much about things that are attributed to different factions or tech updates.

  3. While all of this is true, every single instance you’ve mentioned has a narrative explanation.

  4. But you play halo reach and see marines dressed one way and then at the very start of halo 1 they look different.

  5. That’s an entire planet worth of people vs the tiny group present on the pillar of Autumn in CE. Seeing different designs isn’t even remotely strange. The equipment that was available during CE was very limited.

  6. lol. I’m not saying this isn’t well written because it is but I think

  7. To me, the OG is way better. If we were to compare Blow Me Away with Breaking The Covenant, that would be much more difficult. Blow Me Away rocks but the guitar in Breaking The Covenant sounds so sick

  8. I played the shit out of Godzilla: Save The Earth back in the day. A remaster would be amazing. Maybe even with some of the monsters that got scrapped like Biolante, Titanosaurus, Hedorah, etc.

  9. You probably won’t believe me but I actually just beat Truth and reconciliation on legendary without killing any grunts.

  10. Shoot em in the back! That’s the weak spot! Preferably with a magnum or a sniper.

  11. No question, Halo 2 and 4. There’s just so much content packed into those games and they expose it to you very very quickly.

  12. I wouldn’t say 90%. You’re left to ruminate on most of the things I mentioned. You’re given hints to everything before then via dialogue and terminals. She just elaborates on it all, providing some extra details and explaining the lingering questions that are setup prior. It’s the end of a build up. Here are some questions the game throws at you before chief encounters her:

  13. Well. NOT the original. I despise that set. Mine literally explodes sometimes if I touch it

  14. Ok, we know Didact’s name became Shadow-of-a-Sundered-Star but what was his actual birth name?

  15. For me, the forerunner trilogy were the best books in the series (followed my contact harvest and ghosts of onyx). I’m not an avid reader by any means but I read all three books in the trilogy in like 2 weeks. I couldn’t put them down. They’re amazing. I felt the same way about the newest book too, Epitaph.

  16. It’s an adaptation so it differs quite a bit from actual ark lore so you don’t really need to do any research beforehand. But if you’re interested in the actual game lore neddy the noodle made a movie/series covering the story up until aberration

  17. Yeah but just because it doesn’t follow the lore completely doesn’t mean it’s bad, as other people have been saying. I recommend watching videos from Neddy the Noodle on YouTube. He has in depth videos explaining it with great voice actors that sound very similar to the real voice actors. The in game lore is the true canon, but this new lore from the show is still good on its own. :)

  18. I’m a content creator that focuses on video game lore so generally, I try to avoid watching other YouTubers that make similar content because I don’t want to accidentally copy them or something. Don’t wanna taint my brain, so to speak. I’d like to make some Ark content at some point but I’m a ways away from that so maybe watching them wouldn’t hurt.

  19. That’s wonderful. Welcome to the franchise! You have so much cool stuff to discover. I hope you find the time to play the games and read some of the books. There’s some truly incredible story telling in this series.

  20. On the same day as 2 episodes of Xmen 97 and a new episode of Invincible with no marketing whatsoever on the least popular streaming service...

  21. Love them as audio books, with a few exceptions. The first few are narrated by someone completely unfamiliar with the source material (or Greek Norse mythology, I suppose) and the narrator *insists* on pronouncing the "J" in Mjolnir in a way that turns him into a fedora-tipper. It cuts me deeply every time I hear it. There are a number of other similar pronounciation issues, but that one was the cardinal sin of them all.

  22. I cringe every time. I read the novel then got the audio book for my wife to listen to and we almost didn’t make it through because of it. There were other things in there too that were odd but “majalneer” is certainly the most egregious.

  23. Omfg my dumbass knew it was Norse. I've been working on a Greek project. I'm an idiot.

  24. There’s a bit of a better explanation within Halsey’s journal where you can see her thought process regarding Noble when she meets them. She speculates their origins and what not. Might help clear things up. The last paragraph in the “content” section within this link explains it a bit. It’s worth mentioning that her journal was written in part by Eric Nylund.

  25. I got a feeling they cancelled the game because I can’t really imagine the Disney’s royalties for a multiplayer game. This maybe makes the game not very profitable for a multiplayer game ?

  26. The Spider-Man rights are a bit messier than that. I can’t say with absolute certainty but I imagine Sony has the rights to Spider-Man in video games much like they do in film, theoretically allowing them to bypass any bullshit licensing fee.

  27. No, Sony has only rights to Spider-Man in movies, live actions series and animated series over 44 minutes.

  28. They could if there was enough Spartan II’s but there simply isn’t. There was only 150 candidates.

  29. To be fair, Alpha Nine are all Spartans now so they have a chance of surviving for awhile. Though that’s not what’s pictured, using that era of the team is the only way it would be a fair fight

  30. Now I’m gonna need to see these video’s make sure you are protecting the children….
