Why do you think so? I think it's a cool tech and if it pans out, could reduce the demands for charger. Hell I think this would be great for rural roads that don't see as much abuse and helps people reach that last mile station
Do you really need the full 48 amp continuous (60amp breaker) charge rate? I was in a similar predicament so just went with a 30 amp breaker (24 continuous) charge rate and never have an issue charging overnight. I have the car scheduled to start charging at 10pm (off peak rate) and it’s always finished way ahead of 7am when my wife leaves for the day. Our electrician was a little dubious so I had to show him that when you first set up the wall connector you tell it what breaker size the circuit is on (you connect to the wall connector with your phone via Wi-Fi) and it limits the draw to breaker size x 0.8. Most folks really don’t need the 48amp charge rate.
I thought you could change the car charging rate from 48A to whatever amperage you prefer. I think that's what I'm planning to do just to be on the cautious side. Or does that not work and you have to hardwire the charger to 24A that way?
The reality is there is some ambiguity in this. Assuming you are in the US, the NEC has 3 methods for doing load calculations. The standard method, the optional method, and then the existing dwelling unit method. Fundamentally they all work by adding up everything in your home and applying a demand factor. So how often you use your stove is already accounted for with the demand % in whichever method they used.

Switch to no gi…I’m 41, it helped tremendously.
Even though my gym use gi, we haven't done any technique/drill that requires gi pulling yet, but I'll keep this in mind
