1. Mine didn't come with a guide when we unboxed it.. just a squishy red/purple/blue meatsac

  2. And then those people at the hospital were like "Ok, you're ready to go home"... The fuck we are! You're just gonna let me take this thing home? No training? No nothing? WTF?

  3. This is a weird fight. I feel like most Republicans in Texas live in rural counties. How can this be good for reelection for most Republicans? If anything it’s maybe something people ignore, but your city Republicans surely are not a big enough voting block to cater to at the expense of rural Republicans are they?

  4. Nah, most of Texas lives in the cities... just like every other state. They're just as brainwashed as the farmers though.

  5. They sell pre picked berries, too, if you don't want to bend down. It's mostly for little kids, they like picking the fruit.

  6. My wife took my kids to a blueberry farm where they picked their own. She offered them double the price they wanted to charge her because the kids ate more than they put in the basket. Kids like eating the fruit... picking it is optional :)

  7. There is a culture problem in programming, and I have NO SHAME in blaming silicon valley for that. Ask any engineer in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, medical, chemical, space, anything, they will always tell you that safety and norms are always a big priority, because there are lawyers and accountability at play, and there are a lot of laws to make things safer:

  8. Except the ACTUAL culture problem is that companies refuse to stop and fix problems correctly.

  9. I used to say that a lot to managers too. It never seems to sink in that it actually costs us more to release a product sooner. It's like their little management brains just can't comprehend the logic behind it.

  10. Even state schools tuition averages over 10k a year, add in living expenses and it’s more like 25k per year.

  11. This is what my kids will be doing... we can't afford to send them to college but we can afford to let them live here and support them through college.

  12. But the title literally says “isn’t just around the corner,” despite being here, right now. I understand what you’re saying in your clarification, but it just reads like all the constant Reddit Tesla astroturfing.

  13. People bought their cars 10 years ago based on promises that were never delivered on. But don't take MY word for it. Let's listen to Elon himself!

  14. To be fair who’s to say a corner can’t be a decade long or so

  15. That's not boomer stuff... boomers were leaded gasoline and lead paint. Latchkey kids peaked in the 80s and early 90s. I used to walk myself to 1st grade at 6, walk back and just like OP, get some cereal and milk (microwaves were still too fancy for us) and do homework.

  16. This is fake and ridiculous.... also, why is he pushing all the weapons forward when he fires them.... recoil doesn't work that way!

  17. Worst case of recoil anticipation I've ever seen. If he did manage to get any of them to fire at a decent velocity, he wouldn't be able to hit anything because his aim would suck.

  18. You don't really know what you're talking about, but that's OK because this is reddit.

  19. lol... you put very little effort into that reply, didn't explain where I was wrong or why, and provided no value, but that's OK because this is reddit.

  20. He didn't need to. Your post was nonsense and anyone that's worked on a wage knows it.

  21. Wouldn't dispensaries still be technically illegal if they are selling schedule 3 drugs without a prescription?

  22. Yes... some state laws have made it legal to do so, which simply means state and local law enforcement won't bother you.

  23. I support the man’s comment then. She shouldn’t be behind the wheel in the first place in her mental state.

  24. Yup... you're operating a 2 ton machine that can very easily kill other people. If you can't lock down whatever emotion you're feeling that prevents you from driving safely, then you need to hand over the keys.

  25. Americans would never be allowed to drive again if we had to be in a calm/stable mental state.

  26. You have discovered the "Tyranny of the Rocket Equation". The more mass you're trying to lift, the more fuel you will need, which adds mass, which requires more fuel, etc, etc.

  27. Hate the guy just for that? You can call him an idiot because he is, but straight up hate?

  28. OP never said hate... you said hate. OP just said associating the puppet to Elon Musk is insulting to the puppet.

  29. Damn, we lost Texas?? I didn't even notice

  30. That dude was pretty left-leaning as well as stupid. Never a good combination.

  31. I'm guessing this targeting poor people with really bad credit who are very desperate for an extra buck. It's a terrible deal with even worse than usual APR for a very small amount of credit.

  32. Does seem like the new Payday Loan scam. The poor are already vulnerable. Preying on them is just a huge dick move.

  33. Maybe they are just trying to keep the mods occupied so their other chud shit can slip through?

  34. It doesn't do anything though.. it's an auto-response e-mail that gets sent from Redditbot90210 or whatever. It literally costs no time for any human.

  35. The RNC spent decades grooming them. Slowly eroding education... Slowly interjecting propaganda to get them to hate certain groups... slowly getting them to listen to only certain sources for information. Once they were ready, they just sent in someone who would validate their hate.

  36. Interestingly, we wouldn't even necessarily need to change our constitution (though it would help safeguard it) for the largest change: modifying how we vote. Our largest problem, and why we will inevitably and always devolve into a two party system, is that we have a winner takes all, first past the post form of voting in the vast majority of our elections, and most importantly at the federal level. While ranked choice is undoubtedly the most well known, there's a number of superior systems we could also use which would enable third parties at all levels without feeling like a wasted vote, effectively removing extremes in either party and enabling people to be more represented by candidates they want instead of candidates who are the least bad. The fact that right now our presidential choices are two people with dementia and one with brain worms is a joke. The moment a better voting system is enabled, our country can start seeing real cooperation.

  37. There are two very large groups who currently hold all the power and money who don't want 3rd parties to have more of a chance though. This is the perfect environment for the oligarchs and the government. Poor people aren't too poor to eat, so they won't organize and cause trouble, but they are too poor to not work so the oligarchs are kept in cheap labor.

  38. Youve got to be so careful using catch poles on lynx because they can spin/twist so violently against the noose they can break their own necks or backs. Happened a particularly incompetent zoo in the uk. Twice.

  39. Pretty sure he tightened it so much he choked the cat out. It didn't move til he opened the loop, and then it was awfully wobbly.

  40. I think he just has an extremely high risk tolerant/borderline gambler mentality. His history shows it quite clearly, except he won every time so far.

  41. He won on Tesla and SpaceX. He didn't win on Twitter. Prior to Tesla, he ran his own company and was working on a program called, oddly enough, "X". Then the company that owned PayPal bought his company and made him CEO. He threw a tantrum because he wanted the company to pursue the X app. The board wanted to develop PayPal more.

  42. Stop throwing accusations at me and putting words in my mouth. You see me as the enemy for some reason. That’s why I said you only see in black and white. I brought up a flaw in the study and you attack me. Why? Did you make assumptions about me? Yes

  43. I thought you were the same person who said “you guys” in an attempt to generalize and segregate me. Still, you assume I’m not a liberal. You assume I’m against gun safety some how. I’m not here discussing gun laws with you, I’m discussing the article that OP posted. The article discusses a study that I find to be flawed. It’s okay for you to disagree, I don’t think it’s okay for you to generalize me.

  44. I never assumed that. I stated my political leanings. And I said if you can't keep your guns locked up, I'd rather not live next to you. It was a general statement, although the fact that you took a personally also speaks volumes about you.

  45. No, not this. Do NOTHING. Do not communicate with the bank. The bank will reverse any error on their own.

  46. You should call them and let them know you suspect fraud. Same if you deposit a fraudulent check. Banks will close your accounts with them at the slightest hint of illegal behavior.

  47. Never ever use debit for large purchases as it is almost as bad as cash. Using a credit card protects you in so many ways.

  48. Don't use debit for anything. It's a direct connection to your money. The bank cares very little about YOUR money. Once it's gone, it's painstaking to get it back, if you can at all.

  49. Well, in America, they have been slowly clawing workers' rights away from us after years of red scare Mccarthyism and union busting. So, the greater majority of the workers here have no class consciousness and have a serious issue with learned helplessness and isolation. IE. "What can you do?" When these CEOs and politicians should actually be afraid of us because there are ao many more of us.

  50. Every history book (except the ones the southern US states use) is chock full of examples of wealthy, corrupt oligarchs and governments pushing the wealth gap beyond what is tolerable. Once it reaches a breaking point, the pleebs have no choice but to fight back. It NEVER ends well for the government or the oligarchs.
