1. Weekly! I think the last time we didn't have a newcomer was around Christmas. Definitely come join if you haven't yet :)

  2. Definitely think I’ll be there tomorrow:)

  3. It really popped for me when he was teaching Kaladin and said “you need to learn to vash like me, then you can break the wars”. Really didn’t make sense the first time around though

  4. Hey! Definitely interested. I sent a message as well if you’re still looking :)

  5. I don’t get the “these characters are not returning” interpretations. Seems to me like marvel is just pointing to a bunch of scenes where cycles are broken instead of repeating themselves and using Tony’s line as a way to link them all thematicallly.

  6. The opposite actually. There are a lot of comments asking that. I suggested an alternative

  7. Just a bystander but I’m confused as to why you’re being so aggro to this guy. You aren’t entitled to his political opinions. He made a joke about how the presidential candidates aren’t exactly the crème of the crop and you’re putting him on blast for it.

  8. Here's a speedster character I've been wanting to play for a while. Build goes:

  9. If you decide you still want more applications, if you reply to this comment I’ll definitely send one in! If not, happy rolling!

  10. Hey! I just added the form back into the post. Feel free to submit one :)

  11. Thanks so much! Just sent it in :)

  12. I am thinking along a similar set of ideals. However I am thinking more like the military structure that the WindRunners seem to have put themselves into, Intentional or not, I think that Kaladin is heading towards a General type role. Reflecting that I think the 5th ideal will be something like: "To protect all those I can, I must first protect myself." Where he must step back from the frontlines and Command or something similar. Or, "I cannot protect everyone, I can only give them the power to protect themselves." Seeing as the whole squire system and throwing the plate onto innocents, he could provide mass protection to a lot of individuals from afar.

  13. I really like that last one. He has to understand that he can do more good living than dying. Though that message may have been pounded into his already throughout the series

  14. I have to say I feel like this kind of goes back on all the character growth that both Kaladin and Lirin accomplished in RoW.

  15. I think there’s a little bit of nuance in the difference between how Lirin and Kaladin interpret Pacifism that it wouldn’t backtrack in the growth. Kaladin can still be in the thick of a battle. It would represent a shift in focus and an extra responsibility. He’s not cutting down enemies he’s finding other ways to apprehend them. Take them out of the fight without killing, his focus is on protecting his allies and taking enemies out of the fight peacefully. Probably activity that Lirin wouldn’t really approve of

  16. I think the commenter who mentioned the reflections of the ideals in Lirins teachings are right on the money and I think that the 5th ideal will have to do with the part that Kaladin has the hardest time accepting. Violence leads to more violence. If the 5th ideal is supposed to be difficult to reach, and if it’s supposed to be in line with the skybreakers 5th ideal having them become LAW, then Kaladin needs to be become PROTECTION.

  17. Yeah. You can test this by doing a circle motion on your belly and a square motion on your head with your hands at the same time. You'll see that you mixup the shapes while doing it.

  18. This fucks me up because then how the fuck to people play piano? It seems like expert pianists have a brain for each finger with what they’re able to achieve!

  19. Apparently we’re getting close! This is just hearsay from scrolling on social media, so take it with a grain of salt but supposedly the first Wooly mammoth calf is supposed to be born sometime this year after having been created in vitro and put into an Indian elephant.

  20. Unfortunately, not all SKSE-extension authors are using (or are able to use) the recommended version-independent process using Address Library and non-runtime-specific CommonLibSSE-NG, so those mods don't automatically adapt; we have to wait for version updates by the author. RaceMenu, FISSES, JContainers, FSMP, and a few others are in that group. TrueHUD (and NordicUI, etc.) were broken because they depend on SkyUI, which was broken by a stupid choice by the Bethesda devs (extending an indexed array by inserting a new entry in the middle). AFAIK, all of the widely-used non-self-adapting mods have been updated or have a patch: there's a "Difficulty" patch for SkyUI on Nexus, there's a replacement DLL for FISSES on github, etc.

  21. Would you recommend I do a rollback or just to a fresh install of my modlist with only currently working mods?

  22. The lonely manor loomed over the forest below, its alabaster walls blending into the blanket of snow that covered the land and dusted the tops of the trees. Standing alone with its pointed, blue roofed spires, it commanded the hills on which it stood. It seemed almost that the forest sprang to life around the manor simply to add to its gravitas.

  23. Hello! I am definitely interested!

  24. I started my degree with the O-train. 1 semester I had it. Then COVID. I’ve since graduated. Still no o-train

  25. It actually does. Kamala Khan debuted in 2013 which was well after the MCU was established. The MCU definitely had an effect on comics as it drove engagement with the brand and brought many more people into the comics. As such, while the X-men were owned by fox and couldn’t be part of the MCU, they kinda fell out of favour in the comics. In their place, the inhumans were given more prominence as a a sort of pseudo X-men. So, they have this new mutant character that they really want to market, but mutants aren’t too hot right now because they can’t make movies about them, so instead they make her an inhuman. Now in the MCU she’s a mutant again as originally intended because Disney and the MCU now have access to mutants.

  26. Some of these comments are pretty strange and oddly caustic lol.

  27. I have not yet no. Though I’m thinking either pickle ball or Volleyball, but pickle ball is generally older peeps

  28. Then what are you complaining about? Just meet them online. We're already living in a day and age where almost everything is remote anyway.

  29. I do meet them online, and I’m not really complaining? I like being able to spend time with people in person and I think the average person also enjoys that. I’m just polling the different ways people have been successful in broadening their social circles here, with a particular focus on the hobbies that I enjoy.
