1. We set a record in oil production last year. I don’t get why that’s something people aren’t understanding.

  2. People are stuck in information silos. It's just not getting to them or they reject it as liberal nonsense.

  3. I got in contact with the seller. Looks like a mixup by Amazon distribution, or someone else doing a return scam. We talked and he got me set up with the right card

  4. I literally drove up to their place and we just swapped cards by hand, no need to work through Amazon.

  5. The birth rate has been declining because no one can afford to have a child, so instead of paying people a living wage and giving them Healthcare, they've decided to force women to give birth.

  6. As horrific as this is, this could actually backfire on the forced-birthers. A lot of women will just stop dating or having sex altogether. The thought being that the risk of an unwanted pregnancy ain't worth mediocre-at-best dick. And I wouldn't blame them.

  7. When it comes to this sort of thing, a lot of these men that are complaining and screeching "liars!" or "It was just a misunderstanding!" have likely done something terrible to women (rape, sexual assualt, misogynistic banter) and are terrified of facing some form of accountability.

  8. I had some worry that this was meant to be a flashy title and the details of the article would be lessened.

  9. I can't help but feel a sense of deja vu. When Trump won the 2016 primary, we saw all sorts of articles like this in the summer before the election and we know how things turned out.

  10. All of this is moot if people don't get out and vote. So many thought Hillary was a shoe-in back in 2016, but here we are dealing with the fallout from Trump. Hopefully people won't make the same mistake twice.

  11. I saw a clip from Dave Chapel where he said why he saw something in Trump and others did as well. He was in the debates with Hillary and said something like; "the system is broken and the rich take advantage and I know how to fix it because I'm one of the people taking advantage."

  12. Why did I read this in a thick New Yorker accent?

  13. These people really are trying to do whatever it takes to "pump up the numbers" huh?

  14. It's risky in terms of pregnancy and STIs, men clearly aren't stepping up and becoming better (trying to do the least work for the most reward), dating is a fucking nightmare filled with a cesspool of redpilled men and Tater Tots. Men take lessons on sex from porn. The list goes on.

  15. I might watch this when I'm feeling stronger, just to get a better picture of what happened, but not anytime soon

  16. I get 6 months full pay for illness in the UK... How does anyone not burnout in the States

  17. They want to feel righteous and morally superior. They also can't imagine something bad happening to them nor do they care if it happens to someone else. "After all, don't those sluts deserve it?" is what probably goes through their minds.

  18. ...and they want poor people and their babies to die. The ends justify the means for them.

  19. There’s a handful of episodes I had to pause to take a breath. This was one of them.

  20. Same here. When Robert mentioned "ch*ld s*x trafficking", I was completely unprepared for the dark turn that episode took.

  21. What’s with the asterisks? Is the horror of child sex trafficking somehow easier to manage with asterisks? Since when was language and truth so scary?

  22. I just don't want to get my account flagged by Reddit mods, that's all

  23. These people are really trying to speedrun being the most awful

  24. Article V of the Constitution allows amendments if two thirds of states are in favor.

  25. Don't rule anything out. If they want power and want to enshrine their christofascist beliefs in the constitution, they will try it by any means they can.

  26. I hate this excuse. If it looks like a child, acts like a child, then that's a child.

  27. Not even 500 year old vampires can escape the IRS

  28. You should read Men Who Hate Women by Laura Bates, she does an experiment where she gets a new laptop and doesn't log in to anything (so has none of her personal data to sway the algorithms) and googles "what is feminism?". I think the first result at the time was a speech Emma Watson did on feminism, then she just let it autoplay the next video on YouTube and it would get more and more right leaning saying how feminism is bad.

  29. Misogyny, white supremacy, xenophobia, ultranationalism, the list goes on. These algorithms are infecting the minds of boys and young men. And those same right-wing ads appear on so many videos.

  30. Not unreasonable at all. I grew up in one. It was my home. I thought about going back one day before the crazy got turned up to 11. Now, it's a solid no.

  31. First off, what the fuck? "Busting" to a woman in front of her son? Dude sounds like someone that should be on a list. I hope you reported that behavior. THAT is gross.

  32. I’m from Colorado and there has been a lot of Texan women coming here to get abortions. I just find it interesting they can vote no on abortion rights for other women, but when they need one they come here.

  33. Okay, I gotta admit I was not expecting this from Alito

  34. Do you know what I (M) do when I see a woman in those kinds of clothes? I go about my business or just treat them like a normal human being. That's it.

  35. One of the main problems I have with porn is how domineering and violent it is. Most of it just treats women like meat. And men (usually as boys) pick up on that and think that's how it's supposed to be. I've read story after story about women talking about being choked or "jackhammered" or having their hair pulled. Really disturbing stuff.
