I’m not entirely sure how it happened- my best guess is that I saw “SO” next to his name in the little box at the beginning of a game before he got big and thought it said “SON” - but I very briefly thought his name was Cameron Rising Sun and was very confused when I googled said name and couldn’t find anything.

Have - one very close friend that I talk to on the daily, another close friend that I haven’t talked two in over two years because he’s been deployed but it’s the type of friendship where we don’t really need to be in constant contact, my girlfriend who I genuinely consider to be my best friend, and then a couple dudes who I hang out with mostly because my girlfriend is friends with their girlfriend or sister, with relationships ranging from polite with each other to making stupid jokes over beers within 5 minutes.
That’s a tough one. 2017 had a better record but it took that experience of losing in the game to go for the 2018 team to win. 2017 team had KJ Harrison, Christian Donohue and Jake Thompson (oh, and a healthy Drew Rasmussen). 2018 you get the breakout of Trevor Larnach and Adley and Kevin Abel stepping up as a freshman.
Has to be the arm injury. Keep in mind it wasn't just the CG - in OSU's 8 games over 12 days he threw 21 innings and 305 pitches. He closed game 2 and pitched all of game 3. Game 3 will live on as one of the best ever CWS pitching performances but it's sad if that is what cost him long-term.
