Im the opposite, i hate that the setting of these games is used as an excuse for shitty writing, doesn’t mean i dont like them, but i dont use them as the reason to buy them, because you do nothing in these worlds other than stab people, a horse in RDR2 has more options than the whole RPG trilogy’s worlds, its fine for you to think that enjoy what you enjoy, but it is sad from a video game company to think this way, the dedication to making these worlds is incredible, but not even half of that passion goes to the story or the characters or the continuity of this series, Ezio is still the poster boy is because they barely try to make a character just as compelling or give them the time, the older characters felt like superheroes by the way they look and their ideals, now they are because Ubisoft says so and you’re supposed to accept that and just stare at an empty pretty world

Far Cry 5, and every AC game after AC Origins, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Watch Dogs 2, Watch Dogs: Legion, Outer Worlds, and GTAV. Played them all, completed them all, regret wasting my time with them all. Ubisoft not doing remotely well since AC: Black Flag and AC: Origins in my opinion.

No, US youtube focuses on videos from USA, chances they know Theo is highly unlikely, KSI is well known somewhat is because he’s arguably the biggest in the UK and has collabed with many american youtubers, if someone from there told me they dont know KSI i wouldnt be suprised

Thing is Ubisoft doesn’t give a shit about historical accuracy that much, i dont know where that perception came from, literally in the very first game of the series they said how history is only written by the winners and you dont believe what you read or what you’re told, the AC series basically says “this is how history was in this world of AC”, the people you thought were good can actually be bad and vice versa, yea there are some instances where they dont follow that, like how Cleopatra is potrayed like how the propoganda against her was and not how she actually was
To my knowledge the closest we can get to one until its outright stated or shown in the future, that Altair said in the codex that the creed existed in different forms in some way more or less in the past at different times, but even then that sounded more like an assumption than a revelation

Any studio with integrity that would understand what AC is and make a good AC game, i dont want a studio to make a game “like another game” because that is EXACTLYwhat Ubisoft is doing now
Been playing Ubisoft games since i was a kid and can safely say they are greedy assholes, and they have been for a while, all they care about is money, and as of this year only AC is whats keeping me interested, and quite frankly if Codename Red is really bad ill never get an AC game again, but in any case ill never buy a digital copy from them ever again
It's funny how people care this much about Odyssey retconning Origins, but not Origins retconning every prior AC game before it and doing way more damage to franchise continuity than Odyssey ever did

The series basically shot itself in the foot for starting where it did during the third crusades, but ultimately they never knew it will still be going 15 years later, but if they wanted to expand that does seem like an understandable step, i dont even mind that Odyssey was in Ancient Greece, again my issue is with the DLC not the main game, i wish you can give examples of how it does so
