Would you consider the DLC for Crusader Kings 3 pretty essential to get, and also do bundles with the game+DLC often go on sale? I played it for a bit on Game pass at release and enjoyed the game. I never really play Paradox games but I know they're kinda infamous for mountains of DLC of varying quality

Its very minor and overpriced, the only two that really impact most gameplay are Royal Court and Tours and Tournament. There are some culture improvements like Northern Lords that improve specific civilizations, but those and cosmetics mostly sum up the DLC. They are small and overpriced but the reason id maybe still recommend getting the DLC is some mods require them. If you are planning on playing the game for a long time or modding it, I might buy the dlc up front and save some money

Still worth looking at the charity supported before buying, ESPECIALLY if you are buying for charity purposes and not to get a deal. Plenty of charities are not on the up and up and are very wasteful with money, PCRF is not one of them (in general I find gaming bundles with a charity slant are very good about picking charities, I suspect because they know internet savvy folks will actually do their research and talk about their charities).
