1. The article headline is very misleading. I wouldn't expect the McCaskey family to pay $1.4 billion on the supporting infrastructure.

  2. I don’t think the McCaskey’s have 1.4b. They’re not as liquid as most other owners since all their money is tied up in the bears.

  3. Used to date a girl with a nice scar on her neck. Was very noticeable, but who gives a shit. She had a rockin body and made me scream gods name a lot.

  4. I never said they didn't. I said I hate all parties and we need to stop placing blame on one or the other and instead fix the whole damn system.

  5. Trust me, I know what you said. In the case of Louisiana though, blame goes straight to one party that’s sent the state into the abyss.

  6. Do you believe that living in a blue state is better? Then go move to one and find out exactly how much of a utopia it is. Enjoy struggling financially even making six figures. High crime if you arent paying upwards of 3-4k+ monthly on a mortgage or rent. Theyre just as fucking corrupt

  7. Well, seeing that I left Louisiana after college for a blue state, yes. (I’m not saying all red states are bad, which is what you assumed I’m guessing…I was talking about the bottom feeders) I’m well into 6 figures and definitely not struggling even after taxes and all that. I’m on my 3rd house up here and never have had a mortgage payment of more than $1700 all in.

  8. That’s the Republican party for you: requiring all pregnant women to give birth while cutting funding for child care and early childhood education. Gotta keep everyone poor so they’ll work for less and fill up the prisons

  9. Are you saying it’s not about the kids?

  10. Padraig was obviously a great golfer, but i’m just displaying how premature it would be to crown Scottie the best since Woods.

  11. That’s what we do now though….everyone who wins something is now the goat and the next tiger. The term goat is so overused I’d almost rather watch goats play sports.

  12. I’m buying what you’re selling

  13. Can we stop the teacher circle jerk? They choose that life. It doesn’t require much education, top degrees from top schools, competition, 100 hour weeks, or luck/chance. Their benefits are guaranteed, and they usually get a pension and summers off. Going into finance like this requires extreme luck, intelligence, and a resume that started when you were 14 years old. They can’t be compared.

  14. I love teachers, but they know what they were getting into compensation wise when they chose that profession.

  15. A lot of us, including myself, have thought this whole thing was a bargaining ploy and they've always been intending on building in Arlington Heights?

  16. I still think this is a ploy to get AH to reconsider one last time. I’m not fond of my taxes going to this as we’re still in the hook for a good chunk of soldier field renovations. And let’s be honest, we’re not gonna get something world class like SoFi.

  17. I have never understood why men have such a hard time playing golf while having a wife. Just fucking tell her you’re playing golf. What’s the problem?

  18. The wife part is not the issue for me. It's the 2 kids under 4.

  19. Yup. When my kids were young the last thing I wanted to do on the weekends was play golf. I preferred to do things with them instead. Then they get older and it’s their sports on the weekends. My wife actively encourages me to play on the weekends but I’ve been playing more during the week than anything.

  20. Because a lot of people suck at communicating.

  21. Q101? The mid 90’s Chicago radio station?

  22. Iron Maiden—seems like every album since Bruce came back is underwhelming.

  23. I admittedly didn’t vote because I thought both candidates sucked. Vallas is a grifter and Johnson a CTU puppet. That said, I was, and still am rooting for Johnson to do well. He has a big chance with the CTU negotiations to show the city he has a backbone, financially and otherwise. He’s got a few years left to change his tune and live up to what he told us he was during the campaign.

  24. Would you sleep better at night if Liv was funded by the US govt?

  25. It does not affect my sleep currently, so that that would likely be a no. But it would change the moral questions surrounding the issue, ofc.

  26. It shouldn’t change the moral issues. The US govt has more blood on its hands than anyone.

  27. He’s not screwing anyone in the back room of a strip club. There’s usually a guard there. At most he felt her boobs I’m guessing.

  28. Why you think the fbi always shows up to your house at 630 am

  29. Srsly asking, how many times HAS fbi shown up at your house at 6:30am? I’m at a big fat “0”.

  30. lol they have never showed up at my front door. However, my sister is an agent and told me they show up early because people are more prone to chirp like birds so they can go back to sleep.

  31. I know this is sacrilegious on this sub but isn’t there a special boarding for people with kids? Definitely before B and C.. also.. you’re very brave for doing what you did. I don’t know how you mustered up the courage. Truly astounding bravery.

  32. Yeah I believe it’s after A group (I rarely fly SWA so feel free to correct me).

  33. Live in Chicago and them and United are usually the cheapest to where I’m going. I have the credit card so my bags are free. I’m not loyal to American but I fly them more often than not. United makes up the rest.

  34. I have a friend who has worked as an FA for SWA for years! I mean like well over 30 now. He has two options for uniform: the three piece suit or the polo and khaki shorts he affectionately calls the “safari guide outfit”. He solely wears the suit because he knows that if he’s going to be working on the greyhound of the sky, he might as well look good,

  35. SWA isn’t exactly they greyhound of the sky lol, that’s reserved for Frontier or Spirit

  36. Shiiiit, I hardly watch majors now as is, so this would be pretty much business as usual for me.

  37. Yeah he strikes me as someone that’s concerned about money.

  38. Mans got bills like the rest of us.

  39. It makes me think that the LIV players will be welcome back to the tour after the merger with zero punishment. Rory realizes this and is getting his bag now before the merge makes it not an option.

  40. Probably speeds up any merger as well.

  41. Woods +16 Thomas -Cut Speith -Cut Hovland-Cut Fowler +5 Day +5 McIlroy +4

  42. It was bizarre seeing that few under par. The wind was relentless and I don’t think I’ve ever seen Augusta that firm

  43. I had an 87 Sundance in high school, not the sexiest car but it more than did the job. Sold it when I went to college. Solid first car

  44. For real. If anyone thinks he’s not a decent guy, they need to go check out all of the content that he’s regularly putting out for amateurs on how to get better. I don’t see anyone else doing that

  45. My club hosted the BMW in 2019 and when I met him he seemed pretty genuine. He talked to my daughter for a good 45 minutes about her hobbies, school, and whatever in between. Say what you want about his choice of tour, but he’s far from a bad guy.

  46. No PGA players have PGA logos on thier sleeves, the PGA doesn't pay players?

  47. Aren’t PGA players about to get a nice little payout?
