Well, seeing that I left Louisiana after college for a blue state, yes. (I’m not saying all red states are bad, which is what you assumed I’m guessing…I was talking about the bottom feeders) I’m well into 6 figures and definitely not struggling even after taxes and all that. I’m on my 3rd house up here and never have had a mortgage payment of more than $1700 all in.

Their benefits are guaranteed, and they usually get a pension and summers off. Going into finance like this requires extreme luck, intelligence, and a resume that started when you were 14 years old. They can’t be compared.

Yup. When my kids were young the last thing I wanted to do on the weekends was play golf. I preferred to do things with them instead. Then they get older and it’s their sports on the weekends. My wife actively encourages me to play on the weekends but I’ve been playing more during the week than anything.

He has a big chance with the CTU negotiations to show the city he has a backbone, financially and otherwise.
