1. Thanks for the tip! I am going to listen in chronological order until I get bored. That seems unlikely at the moment.

  2. They really begin to find their form around Alaska, which is when the current lineup formed and has not changed since. Colors is a huge leap into new realms tho, and every album after is pretty solid. I think everything from Alaska forward has zero skips tho.

  3. Dating in your 20’s is really just meeting the The Office Fan Club

  4. So many Pam's out there on dating apps looking for their Jim and vice versa.

  5. I don’t even know if TCU is playing for seeding at this point. TCU is in. The game is clearly close. If Georgia and Michigan take care of business then I would be shocked if it wasn’t Georgia vs OSU and Michigan vs TCU.

  6. This is what I'm hoping for. Hopefully Georgia takes care of OSU and we get a revenge game against Georgia in the natty.

  7. Ugh, he plays a man who has been so stressed out for so long that he's basically dissociating all the time. Carmy is so divorced from what he's feeling that he can't even tell someone how he's doing - and Jeremy Allen White manages to convey that through his expressions. An incredible performance.

  8. Working in a kitchen will do that to you. I'd get in at six am on Saturday, see a huge, labor intensive prep list (about half of which needs to be done before 11am so the line can heat up stocks/soups/etc for being hot held in the well during service) and just immediately turn off part of myself. I'd put on fast pace music, mainline caffeine, and for the next eight to ten hours I'd just go. I sat down to pee just so I could sit. I don't miss working in a kitchen at all.

  9. Damn is resonated. I only worked front of the house, but every now and then I had to go into the walk-in freeze for 30 seconds to cool off and reset.

  10. I step outside as if I was on a smoke break just to breathe. Had a coworker tell me that I don't smoke and I just hit em with a "And?"

  11. Scrubs is out? Wtf did they do? Are people mad JD lovingly called Turk his "chocolate bear?"

  12. Scrubs has an episode where JD shows up to a black fraternity with Turk in blackface. Turk knocks on the door, then recognizes a friend and walks away. Leaving JD to get his ass kicked. Also there is an episode where he imagines a combo of Turk and Elliot and it's Sarah Chalke in blackface. Neither of them are inherently racist, but the latter example definitely didn't age well for a lot of people. Had they put Donald Faison in a wig with some big fake tits it might have just rubbed another demographic the wrong way. I still love Scrubs though. It's one of the most wholesome shows and it ended fantastically (we don't talk about that other season).

  13. Roald Dahl was a spy, and a really interesting dude.

  14. He also wrote the James Bond movie You Only Live Twice!

  15. I've been saying "And those that don't like it, eat a dick." since the first time I heard Snoop say it on Doggystyle. It's practically hardwired into my system at this point.

  16. The way the Stafford trade worked out has been great for Lions fans if y'all continue to play poorly. Got to see our guy get a super bowl and the recognition he deserves after years of being shit on for playing for the Lions. Now this year we get a good draft pick. Feels good, man.

  17. The Pyramid Scheme in Grand Rapids is one of my favorite bars/venues! Got its name from that other pyramid scheme.

  18. Harbaugh was a good coach. I was always stunned how often everybody called for his head. Then he gets the pieces in place, makes the CFP and he's coaching royalty.

  19. People forget that Harbaugh made Stanford a relevant football program at one point. He's won pretty consistently everywhere he's coached. Really hope we don't lose him to the NFL any time soon.

  20. uh yeah... same as you buddy (i'm doubting you are athletic enough to play any level of football given your name is MLG_BongHitz)

  21. Jokes on you. Michael Phelps got caught hitting a bong back in the day. He has a lot of Olympic gold medals. Guess where he went to school and trained?

  22. It's almost like fools need to stop judging coaches and players so quickly all of the time and I swear it's something I'm seeing more and more. Everyone seems to expect success immediately. People wrote off Harbaugh as soon as he got to Michigan. If Michigan fired him after 3-4 years they'd be an annual 8 win team since then. It's like how I saw a post on

  23. For real. I feel this way about Dan Campbell right now. Yes, he's made some questionable calls. But he has a young Lions team going in the right direction and there's a GM in place who seems to know how to draft. You'd think Lions fans of all people would realize that all we have is time to wait for them to get good. It's maddening.

  24. 0 is the mvp of this game if Michigan holds out

  25. Ohio State fans cannot be seriously saying Ryan Day should be fired. You can't be that spoiled

  26. Spoiler: they are. And Michigan fans are just as entitled.

  27. I'm hoping we steal Minnesota's juju and we win out while they lose out. We take the division. We go to the super bowl. We win. A thousand years of Dan Campbell. We go back in time, roid up Jeff Bridges to play Campbell in a sports movie "Pride of Detroit." It sweeps the Oscars.

  28. God. Jared's character arc in that show was amazing. The first time he starts screaming in German in his sleep will never not be funny.

  29. 23??? Love your OL but don't think that record will climb much with that defense

  30. Outside of the Bills game, the rest of our schedule is pretty soft. Jaguars, Jets, Panthers, Bears, Packers, and Vikings are all winnable games if our defense plays like it has in the past couple weeks. That being said, they're all loseable too cuz we're the Lions.

  31. It’s kinda crazy the disrespect he gets here. Dudes very good but folks here think he’s a backup at best next year purely based on talent. He’ll never be a Mahomes, but he’ll win you games.

  32. Gives me Alex Smith vibes for sure. Dude was called a bust early on. Put together a couple good seasons then got replaced by Kaepernick. Went to KC, played well but got replaced by a super talented Mahomes. Never seemed to get the appreciation he deserved but was a reliable QB for most of his career.

  33. When exactly was Jimmy called a bust? Nobody is calling Bradys backup a bust and when he played for Pats he won a couple of games he played. Then he went to the niners and lit the world on fire.

  34. Smith was called a bust. But there's been a "Jimmy can't get it done" narrative that I consider similar in terms of narrative. Point is they both had doubters, I just made it poorly.

  35. All this dude is saying is he’s old like know one gives a shit how you met Keanu reeves whatever you need to cope with being 40+ years old ig and personally I first met Keanu from the movie speed

  36. Point Break for me. Also my introduction to Patrick Swayze.

  37. I should've expanded the comments before making the same point with Steph and Klay lmao.

  38. Totally. Steph Curry and Klay Thompson grew up dirt poor, that's why they've got four rings and are the two greatest shooters of all time. /s

  39. S5 is exactly when i stopped watching. Character death at the end of the season sealed it for me. And skeleton fight.

  40. Mahomes-Kelce stack hits different

  41. I'd be running away with my league if I had Kelce along with Mahomes. One of my losses came in a tight game where Mahomes kept me in it. Unfortunately my opponent had Kelce and Pat kept throwing to him and that's why I lost.

  42. The main criticism of Fields was that he couldn't go through progressions. This was a dumb criticism though, because he played for Ohio State so the first option was usually open anyway.

  43. There's also the narrative that a lot of Ohio State QBs have not panned out in the NFL, which seems like another reason his stock dropped.

  44. I like how people say stupid shit like “no one will miss ____” when it’s something or someone with a massive following, but they’re just too ignorant and lazy to be aware. It’s like when people say “just leave” to the people who complain about the issues in their home states or countries. Way to just sound like a douche.

  45. I will certainly miss Stephen King. I thought he died when I saw this post for a second and was fully prepared to start weeping and wake up my partner. I chose to study English and Lit. because he made me love and believe in the power of stories. The man is a national treasure.

  46. I've only ever read the first Dark Tower book, but goddamn do I love his film adaptations.

  47. I just watched Storm of the Century (bonus in that the snow was really coming down here in Michigan) and FUCK was it good. I expected a shitty ending but it was good from front to back.

  48. Is he still not one hundred percent? Seemed like dude was playing well before he got hurt.
