Welcome to the club. The last interesting event that I remember was in the summer, when there was a Fossil event with Turant and Amaura (not counting Go fest and Tour). For two years now, nothing else has interested me except a new Shiny. Maximum Only raids or bonuses.
I’m going to do you a favor by confidently asserting that Metagross won’t ever have competition, given the combo of its high stats and extremely powerful move.
I think in future we have these options : GoldenGo with Make it rain, Zacian with Behemoth blade and Iron Crown with Tavhyon cutter. Withou signature moves : Archaludon, Dusk mane Necrozma but it depends on what these attacks will be(Smart strike and metal burst, and if they get it)
Solgaleo might come to raids for Go Fest, Zarude might never become a raidboss. So if you prefer Solgaleo, I'd wait and see if it actually is featured at Go Fest.
Mewtoo strong, but not usable in PvE( there are few legendary ones vulnerable to Psycho). If u dont have candy or good/100% u can focus m2. Groudon OP in raids. And in future he must appear in shadow raids.
Shadow mewtwo is absolutely viable in PvE, for a long time he was actually (arguably) the best as it worked extremely well against a wide variety of types (ghost and psychic types with shadow ball, anything weak to psychic, even had a niche with ice beam) AND provides amazing neutral damage.
Shadow Mewtoo dps big, but not enough to be strongest. With SB he close to regular Tyranitar(shadow tyr much more stronger). With with Ixe beam he close to be regular Mamoswine. I remember only 2 pokemon, who vulnerable to Mewtoo (Terrakion and Zamanzenta). There will be more of them in the future, but that won't make Mewtoo a favorite in raids.
I love raids and can do 50+ raids in day. Can u solve, how many grunt i need defeat to get 200 gems? Second, after raid u get 3-10 shards(1-2 gems) and spend 4 gems.
Just some my statistics. In last Tour i spend 110+ green passes. When MewToo 1st time appear in raids, i do 40+ raids in one day. I dont spend money on the game(only buy ticket for Tour and Fest)
Groudon more useful in Raids (a lot legendary weak to ground). Kyogre not the best option for raids (in summary, only raid for him its VS primal Groudon, in other scenarios Kyogre useless). Shadow Grodoun is Best way to spend Jovanny radar.
Don’t do that to me. Don’t say “increased chance of seeing kyogre shiny” just for me to do a bunch of raids and then not get a shiny again. Im already preparing for sadness
If you don't do a bunch of raids in duo and there are enough arenas in the area, then you can delete Revive and Potion. The minimum amount of revive and heal potion is 100 pieces in total. Having more is not so important.

Looks like you can get access to 6000 gyms. 99,999999999999999% players will never do 50 raids in a weekend (plus paying $100 for green raid passes).

I can agree. It was annoying when after spinning pokestop u get sticker instead balls or other stuff.
