Not sure about the harder hitting vs placement, but I think fivb is considered better because the best teams from AVP compete in some of the international tournaments and don’t do as well.
The only argument you could make against this would be that fivb 1 and 2 star events are definitely not the best players. Most of the big names don’t bother going to 1-2 star events. If we are talking fivb 3 and 4 star events then I totally agree
Yea AVP could have more teams that could compete in higher level fivb(volleyball world or whatever they are called now) tournaments but just can’t beat the top teams
