1. Just thinking how many fans in the draft day thread sound exactly like the huge patriots homer asking him the question.

  2. There won’t be any WR’s left 30 picks later. How do fans not realize this. We have no #1 or #2 wr and you want to draft the 15th best wr in the draft?

  3. Damn, I too, wish later round WR's could become WR1's....

  4. This is objectively one of the worst posts I’ve seen the last 2 days. What kind of logic is this, teams should just draft QB’s in the 6th round Instead of the 1st bc of Brady!

  5. Per Seth Walder, the trade with the Chiefs was one of the cheapest trade-ups in the past 20 years. Chiefs only surrendered a 6th-round pick’s worth of value.

  6. A 6th round pick of extra value, Walder is either a moron or being facetious. There are plenty of trades with outright negative value, we didn't get hilariously over the top value but we did get positive value, as in more than our pick was strictly speaking worth.

  7. Yeah, that claim is pretty dubious, but I don't have the time to go through every single draft pick trade recently and compare draft chart value to each other.

  8. This means we made out with an extra 6th in value based on the draft chart. Or, KC overpaid a 6th's worth of value to move up.

  9. I don’t believe you are interpreting that statement correctly.

  10. Look, your totally right, but after the last few times we’ve traded in the first it’s going to get meme’d no matter what, doesn’t help you didn’t get much for it

  11. We turned a late 4th into a 3rd (moved up 38 spots) which is pretty significant for moving back 5 picks, assuming we didn't have much worry about losing guys on our board.

  12. Or your FO is brain dead, the last time you traded with the Chiefs they got Mahomes and no one from that trade is on your roster anymore.

  13. I just…don’t get it. Look at the WR board now. The top guys are all gone. Sure, they have different rankings than the media experts, but it’s a tough look entering the season with Ladd McConkey as your WR1.

  14. The top guys were gone by 9, maybe 23 if you put BTJ in tier 2 alone. In that case, there's like 10 more WRs in tier 3, all with their own strengths and different concerns.

  15. We moved back 5 and moved up 38. That's pretty damn good value. And it looks likely KC would have got him anyway and we'd have nothing from it.

  16. He always says this but teams like KC sure thought they found a 1st round talent. It is going to suck when he's used against us. So who is wrong about evaluating these guys?

  17. Based on KCs recent track record of WRs, it doesn't lean their way. The GM that drafted Hill (in the 5th btw with his own issues) isn't their current GM.

  18. I feel dirty. Bill Belichick said exactly what I was thinking.

  19. Don't see who they would have been able to trade with in that range. With all the top CBs still on the board, no way Philly was gonna move back.

  20. What? All the cbs being on the board woulda made Philly more confident they could get a guy, not less.

  21. Nobody predicted 16 offensive players off the board right away.

  22. He still has 2 years and a 3rd year option so that’s not terrible, 1 less than a normal 2nd rounder. And he has been with one of the best organizations at developing DBs. I could see Atlanta being interested in that because they need defensive help

  23. That’s a decent comparison. I think I just see Elam as a serviceable starter who has come up in big moments and could figure it out this year. I think this will be the year it clicks for him.

  24. I hope so too, I just don't think that translates to much trade value yet. I think he'll become at least mid level starter.

  25. I too would dance in my underwear if I found out I was about to get a hundred some million bucks

  26. Fuck the underwear. I'm tossing dolla bills in my birthday suit.

  27. A lot depends on the tackles, too. If tackles are flying off the board, we are probably trading down

  28. idk, hit rate seems alright and top guys tend to have wider skillsets

  29. But I don't think any of those players are worth 2 1sts+ a 2nd or 3rd, outside of maybe Chase and Evans considering the cost control.

  30. I wouldn't give up that much either, idk where you got that cost from

  31. I just hope he's hitting the jug machine hard. He had a good season overall but his hands are a liability

  32. Fox stats has 6, and most that I remember were wide open concentration drops too. Hopefully those are the easiest to fix. Knox had/has a problem with those too.

  33. Yeah wide open drops hurt the most and stay in our memories the longest. I love cook but would love to see him be a little better on the easy catches

  34. I think I remember 2 wheel routes that were just wide open TD's that it happened on specifically.

  35. There should definitley be "Good ults" and "Bad Ults", but reducing that gap is important.

  36. I know nothing of the NHL, but his wiki entry seems pretty good, especially considering how the Sabres have been over the last decade. Anyone that's been a long time fan have thoughts?

  37. Oof! That’s right and that pick could conditionally be the one that’s sent to Buffalo as a part of the Stefon Diggs trade. Dude can’t stay away from Minnesota in some part lol.

  38. I don't think there's a condition on it, it just is ours now.

  39. Oh nice! I thought it could be a 2nd or 3rd depending on some bullshit.

  40. Nope Minny's(which Houston had) 2nd and we sent back a 5th and 6th (one this year, one next, idr which is which)

  41. True and that sucked royally as well and should not have happened either.

  42. I just didn't understand the point of different locations. They all have majority Bills fans, just like Buffalo. I don't think Buffalo as a whole is any happier than Syracuse or anywhere else in NYS.

  43. People definitely give a fuck. It's extremely unpopular here. It was brought up in the governor debates. Its an insane chunk of change for one of the richest people in the state while simultaneously cutting social services.

  44. "Don't give a fuck" if the Bills leave, is what that was meant to imply. or don't give a fuck about the Bills.

  45. Looking into this a little closer, I can see where youre coming from.

  46. Oh I thought we were having a conversation, not a confrontation.

  47. What kind of data do you want? I wasn't the person you were replying to, I just read your comments and not exactly sure what you are trying to say.

  48. Wasn’t LT a linebacker? He might be the greatest defensive player of all time, certainly the best LB.

  49. You didn’t even mention the best stat when looking at Diggs vs Shakira. Targets

  50. Wasn't he rich well before the Bills? He's one of the wealthier owners in the league. From fracking iirc.

  51. The costs for the team are rising, and the stadium is already over budget. He's selling part of the team because he doesn't have the liquid cash to cover the expenses of the team. Owning something valuable doesn't make you rich, because you have to sell it to get money.

  52. Usually at that level of rich, it's all done with loans. They make more than the loan interest just from investments and business, so they don't need the cash itself.

  53. I'd bet anything she's preggers. And yes, I have heard of this before. Either she wasn't fully spayed, it happens, or the rescue and/or vet thought she was and surprise, she wasn't. Update us but if she is pregnant. And after the kittens are born then I'd get her fixed, but in the meantime google Kitten Lady on Youtube. And thank you for taking this sweet girl in and adopting her, if she has kittens you will know even more joy than you thought possible!

  54. We took my rescue in, they said she was healthy, gave her shots, yadda yadda. Couple years later we took her back to get her spayed because we rescued another male cat.
