The style is called āmercury glassā. Even the new shit from places like west elm. That doesnāt mean they have actual mercury in them. Iām trying to determine if this is old or just some contemporary item from pottery barn.
Ugh. This happened to me recently when my daughter was washing my pink gooseberry Cinderella bowl, the only one I had, the 401? I was crushed. Threw it away and then learned later I could have sent it off to someone to make jewelry out of it.
Thank you!! I have noticed this and have pondered on the morality. i've seen it on youtube lives as well and facebook selling groups, but more on youtube lives.
Thatās why I posted here, and Iām glad at least one person agrees with me. I think itās worth discussing, and as youāve put it, pondering the morality of it all.
Iāve already explained it in detail. People can still be victims even if they are looking at what they are buying. Theyāre caught up in the hype. Theyāve drank the kool-aid. Thereās some mental health issues at play and some interesting psychology regarding the dynamics of auctions and gambling, which is essentially whatās happening. People buy things they donāt need or want all the time. Itās called compulsive shopping and hoarding. And people go into to massive credit card debt doing it.
Impossible to tell. You didnāt tell us how much the lease is and itās hard to tell whatās there. Looks like thereās not much of anything good in there. Wonāt take long to empty.
His nameās Nico Ratoff, and he writes childrenās books. For instance Scissor Jack, which tells the tale of him being arrested for drunkenly joy-riding in the scissor jack left on the aviation bike path while the basket bridge was being built.
Well Iāve seen him dancing for about I wanna say 10 years now maybe moreā¦ I remember first seeing him by Reid Park when my school went on a field trip there. So Iād say heās in his late 40s right?
As long as you donāt go buck wild, a Costco membership can be very financially beneficial. I mostly buy garbage bags, oxyclean, paper towels, toilet paper, butter, and eggs there, and I save a ton of money each year over what I would spend buying those items from the big box stores. A box of the garbage bags lasts us about 9 months in our house!
The more people keeping buying, the more they'll keep building. The dumb masses just sip it up on the regular. Every morning, every afternoon and maybe 3-4 for the kids on their way home. We created this.
Seriously, what is with all of the car washes going up lately? Are they really that profitable of a business? Also wondering if car washes recycle the grey water? Anyone know?
I think they meant the bag. Be careful doing it in the tub though, because Pyrex and porcelain are natural enemies. If you have a porcelain tub and you drop the Pyrex, it most certainly would break.
Many moons ago when I was 21 years old and in therapy my therapist advised me to put a designated amount of money on the side to shop with so that there is no guilt when I need some shop therapy. It's only a problem if you're breaking the bank. Some people run, some eat, some do drugs, some drink... We all have vices not all of them have to be bad. Happy shopping!
Iām planing to move east in the next year, and I suspect the thrifting will be much better. I may be in trouble. But yes, gotta set those types of rules and follow them.
Iām still kicking myself. But I guess we should be rejoicing for the person who did buy it for such a great price. Hopefully it went to a collector and not a reseller. I feel a little bad that the person who sold it didnāt realize the set sells for much much more than she was asking. She also had an Amish butter print and butterfly gold Cinderella bowl, the size down from the largest, and sold those for $30 for the pair. I imagine she mustāve had a ton of messages about it.
I know, I realized later. Itās so easy for me to jump to assuming that people are being mean on the internet and Iām sorry. The internet can be a mean place. But I think this sub is a good one, and the info you shared is good for other to know ā¤ļø
Fantastic fit. My 18 year old daughter would have snagged this in a second.
Thank you!
She would wear it with wranglers and cowboy boots, probably.
So all my old silver glass is mercury?

Oh no not the gooseberry!!! š± My condolences!
Thatās exactly what I said when I heard and saw what happened, āoh no, not the gooseberry!ā
Oh sheās so pretty.
I know this is older, but did you identify? Does it have any other labels?
Adorbs
My fave. How much was it?
They wanted $59 but I got it for $14!
Omg. How? Did you offer $14 and they said, āok.ā Wow. I wish shit like this happened to me.
You are welcome to come meet me personally and see for yourself. Thanks about the writing š
Why did you leave your kids?
You left your kidsā¦ā¦. Say no more
Yeah, she totally lost me at āI left the kids.ā
Is that a full forest fancies Cinderella set?
I think so, yes. its the mushroom pattern.
Damn that was a great buy. First fancies isnāt my absolute fave, but I like it enough that Iād buy it for my collection.
I saw a pink one of these in good condition recently sell for $50 with free shipping on eBay.

How is she conning people? They know what they're buying.

Seems thrift stores never look at the 'Sold' itemsš”. Their prices are ridiculous.
I always say to them, āI could list a dog turd on eBay for $500, doesnāt make it worth $500.ā

Late 40s is old? You must be 15.
Haha oh man I remember having to do that! š¤£ I bet you they donāt anymoreā¦I just met a new shopper I shouldāve asked her! Lol
Iām a new shopper and I had to scan my DL. Also did my first shipt order yesterday and she didnāt tip!
Omg you look amazing in it.

I had this same feeling of loathing for this planet when I started to see the āspring Black Fridayā advertisements pop up all over town.
Well it was either that or a storage facility or a car wash...
Seriously, what is with all of the car washes going up lately? Are they really that profitable of a business? Also wondering if car washes recycle the grey water? Anyone know?
Breaks? Why would it break?

Thatās a great tip! Thanks!
The dress is a bit big on you but I LOVE IT. And all the other stuff you found is fabulous too!
Iām planing to move east in the next year, and I suspect the thrifting will be much better. I may be in trouble. But yes, gotta set those types of rules and follow them.
Iām so sorry

Been there many times lol
I seriously am in deep regret over this one. This pattern in this color way is my most highly coveted, as I know it is for many.
I might have bought them for that price. Theyāre kind of cute.
Wow!
Oh āI was not being critical OP! I just thought people would like to know that .
