1. Huge part of Americanisation is lobbying interests

  2. Again 97-2010 taught me they care about the nhs won't destroy it. 2010 since has taught me the Tories want it to end .

  3. Let's all vote for the privatisation of the NHS because red rosette good

  4. Idk if youve noticed but things have changed, inc the Labour party. Not tryna changed minds on reddit or whatever but it's worth listening to what they're actually saying

  5. It was a bougouise revolution undertook by a small clique of wealthy elites. Its also tied in w manifest destiny and the genocide of the Natives. I think most still see it as a positive overall, but are vocal about criticisms of it.

  6. You're literally just adding in another step. That's the opposite of efficiency.

  7. That’s life, if you don’t have enough money you can’t afford all things. Never heard the saying “beggars can’t be choosers” that’s the whole point in making sure you have enough money in life (or for your children)

  8. Kids deserve poverty, they deserve to scrimp and feel lesser than their peers- you

  9. It's a justification for doxxing Nazis. People generally think its ok to treat Nazis worse than other people so it's arguable at best that it sets a precedent. The idea Nazis need precedents being set to do bad things is pretty stupid.

  10. Stop dancing around the question. We're talking about governance in the context of Starmer's potential time as a PM.

  11. They looked at everything Thatcher did & just carried it on. Bragged about having strict anti Union laws.

  12. Did you order the child who minted the rare earth metals in your phone down the pit? Did you order the slave labour to build the stadiums for you to watch the world cup be played in?

  13. Let's be honest we sorta did. We literally ordered the product/ticket despite knowing it means kids going into the mines etc

  14. You are automaticly assuming bad faith from official parties and good faith from protesting parties.

  15. Our gov is screwing us & all our protests should be unruly. It is entirely possible huge amounts of the planet will not be habitable by the time my grandparents are born due to gov action & inaction. What do you think a peaceful march is going to do? A million ppl marched in my country before & the gov ignored everyone of them.

  16. And yes, I'm assuming bad faith from official parties, because I'm not an idiot. I have been stolen from & assaulted by official partied while protesting legally. Activists whom operate within the law have even been r*ped by undercover operatives, why would I trust them?

  17. Except hamas state and party in power...

  18. There have been no elections in Palestine for 10 years. Meanwhile the elected Israeli gov gives settlers weapons, let's them keep the land they steal & ignores violent crimes.

  19. No no,those gals are idiots, they not meant to be on the grass, they're taking up way too much space and it's really fuckjng annoying. He has a right,na a duty,to tell those girls to fuck off. The world's not for them, and tiktok is making fools of you all.

  20. It's a public park. It literally is for them.

  21. Screaming at a bunch of young girls will obviously get you judged

  22. A huge part of Corbyns downfall was internal sabotage. If he had purged his internal enemies instead of trying to work with them he'd be in downing street.

  23. 6 hours sleep 1 hr to get ready 10 hours work 2.5 hrs commuting 1 hr Cook & eat 1 hr to clean kitchen, iron, wash clothes etc 30 min commute to gym 1 hr gym 30 min shower + ready for bed 30 mins to kill myself

  24. People would have a better opinion of the police if they didn’t have a history of corruption, lying and cover ups. Or at the very least, did something to tackle this image.

  25. It's baffling to me that there are upvoted comments here hailing our police force as one of the best, when they caused a riot by lying about the deaths of 2 children just a couple weeks ago lol

  26. Whilst we can all revel in the idea that landlords are forced to sell, the underlying problem here is supply. So because of that, landlords exiting the market might cause house prices to drop slightly, but will put upward pressures on rental prices, which is quite perverse. That's why it does actually cause pain to renters. It's because of market forces. And the fact that many renters can't afford a house that's dropped in price by 10% anyway, so they are forced to pay yet higher rents on a smaller pool of houses available to rent. I believe that for example in London, house prices have barely dropped whilst landlords have been forced to sell, and rents have gone up 20%+

  27. How does this change supply though? Either the house is sold to a different landlord, maling no difference, or a former renter buys a first home, taking both the house & the renter off the market

  28. I work in the Sainsbury's that's in the photo.

  29. Also context of the video: no cars are being blocked and the protest was authorized by the government. Most people who commented don't seem to realize that the people in the video are not blocking any cars or actual highway.

  30. I’d heard that the stabbing wasn’t motivated by that but just a personal issue. Is that wrong? Edit this thread is honestly so confusing. Not sure how my comment got 2 downvotes for asking a perfectly reasonable question. Lay off the oestrogen guys.

  31. Truth is we don't know, but she was bullied for years because she's trans, hard to think it didn't play a role

  32. Those delinquents were gonna carry a knife regardless of her gender or altered gender. You carry a knife to use it.

  33. They could've had the knife specifically to stab her & lots of people carry a knife for self defence, doesn't mean they plan on stabbing someone thstvdsy

  34. Those 'trial' regulation scooters are good, I like them. But the ones around oxford have indicators, identifying numbers like license plates, insurance (by the operating company) and you're supposed to be wearing a helmet, and riding on roads as if moped.

  35. So you agree we should have cycles with registration plates and insurance then?

  36. Nope. Just provide proper cycle infrastructure so ppl don't have to choose between cycling on the pavement & feeling unsafe next to drivers that hate them for being on the road

  37. They are taking peaceful action to prevent a fox being illegally ripped apart by dogs. They are not acting like children, but brave & bold adults standing up for what they believe in.

  38. A game that puts them at risk in order to save the lives of animals. Say what you want, but it's brave, & the world would be a better place if we had more people "acting like kids" instead of sitting at home criticising them.

  39. Yeah I live in Liverpool. And there not nazis at all. The media loves putting a narrative on things. It’s all bs

  40. Please google Patriotic Alternative. Not everyone protesting that night was a Nazi, but Nazis were working behind the scenes to stir & organise shit

  41. They were rejected as a political party as they didn’t complete the application properly

  42. Not sure they would want to be one as there are stricter laws for parties, for example if they're a party they can't stop people of colour joining.

  43. Or if you want to do a burst transmission at 0700 so everyone thinks you're already logged on working.

  44. Yh I do this on a Fri. Don't want to email everyone extra work on a Friday evening so I set it to send Monday morning.

  45. the one instance of "Christian" in that whole shite wiki article. It does not say anywhere that the shooter was Christian and he never claimed to be in his letter - and considering that the families that live in that area, the victims were all Christian themselves. Trust me, the leftist editors there would be all over that if they could. Try again.

  46. Whatever. I'm not gonna spend any more time googling mass shooters lol, point is, Christian terrorism is absolutely a thing in the US & I did name an attack

  47. No its not. You still haven't named a "far right Christian attack" in the US which was the claim. You could probably have cited the New Zealand shooter as a Christian terrorist - but he wasn't in the US.

  48. I did. The Pittsburgh synagogue shooting. Guy had a bible verse in his gab profile

  49. You are being mocked. I do it when something insanely stupid happens to either myself or anyone else on the field. Or an outstanding play happens lol

  50. It's both imo. Yeah you're being mocked for a mistake, but this is rocket league, it happens, we all make mistakes

  51. Flair tracks….. jk jk had to have a lil laugh but yeah I can take a fun ‘wow’ or ‘w.a.s.’ I always am worried that my tm8 won’t take it as a joke then I feel like it works about as well as being toxic lol it’s a shame we don’t have a ‘/s’ quick chat so we can have a laugh and keep the spirits up!

  52. Yeah that's why I always drop the np after, a /s would be cool tho. I think you have to be able to laugh at the mistakes that happen in rl or you'll go insane

  53. Agree on pretty much everything but the government, I think direct democracy is inefficient and we should go for union/syndicate based democracy. Other then that very based

  54. If they don't want them to have a huge say in the economy, I'm not sure why union/syndicates would be the way to go
