I think u could toss some more random percs in to keep it interesting and spice it up. Panning on the 808 sounds cool. I think u could build to the drop at 0:14 a bit more, maybe add a reverse crash or kick right before and chuck a pad in the background once the beat comes in. This sounds good man. I think the kick could be lowered in pitch a bit to help it sit in the beat a bit more. Melody and arrangement is all good. I think the 808 could also be beefed up a bit, if you're in fl studio try tossing a fruity blood overdrive on it and turning up the preamp. Mostly just personal preference tho. i really like this beat. the instrumental and vocal samples work really well together and i like the transitions/embellishments that keep the beat fresh. the drums could hit harder but that’s personal taste. and for the old school sound i think u nailed it

Very dope. The sample throughout is dope and things are generally well mixed. Occasionally, it's a bit difficult to hear the lyrics over the sample's melody, but not most of the time. I like the kind of stuttered part around 1:20. Only thing I could really criticise is the outro. The acapella seems to end kind of abruptly, then the beat fades out slowly afterwards. Maybe let it end of more of a "punch" instead of a fade out.

Thanks for the feedback man. The vocals sound a bit muddled in the mix, could maybe toss an eq on them and up the high end, or just up in the mix maybe. Flow at the beginning is a bit choppy, could be synced with the beat a bit cleaner in my opinion. Keep it up man

the flanging might be a bit too extreme, maybe make it a bit more dry. sample and drum loop (don't know if that is part of the sample) is fire tho.

I like the vibes of your track. I think the hi hats could have a little more high end frequencies to them. Also the vocals might benefit from some EQ and compression. It sounds like the volume of the vocals kind of goes up and down regularly, which might be because they're clashing with certain frequencies from the instrumental.
