Ever? Wolverine is almost always one of those characters that are WELL stocked. There were plenty of chances to get this guy, there will be more opportunities down the line I'm sure, even if it's a slightly different version. If you waited until well after release to try to get it then you can surely wait a bit longer until a rerelease or prices come down?
I got one last year to try to customize it for 6 inch scale to fit with my Smash Bros (still working on it lol). It doesnât feel fragile at all, just outdated engineering/articulation. The elbow cut is functional as a single joint but the cut is weird. The hips are horrendous. Other than that I would say it holds up pretty well. The upper torso articulation works surprisingly well for such an old figure and accessory- and paint-wise, itâs fantastic.
I just got my set shipped from my pile of loot on BBTS and I have a couple of paint errors on Fire Man and Ice Man. It's not enough for me to go through the hassle of trying to exchange with BBTS but I'm thinking about contacting Jada Toys to see what they will do. Luckily my copy of Mega Man himself came out pretty good.
Gamestop actually has it up for $25 also... maybe that is the retail price? I thought I remember seeing it was supposed to be $30 ,but honestly $25 feels more right for this.
I know the short ears(?), wings(?) of the mask are accurate to Astonishing X-men look but hopefully the yellows match the 97 Wolverine for some head swaps. I want this costume mostly for the MvC3 look and heâs got the bigger ears there.
I loved the line for at least being in scale and a uniform look for the entire line. The current stuff is so annoying because you canât just build a JL or JLA because one will be completely out of scale with the next or they wonât complete a team.
Even outside of the scale issue, big issue with McFarlane line for me is the lack of classic costume releases. Why did it take so long to get a classic Wonder Woman? Even when heâs not on his 1002nd Batman, the figures costumes are completely overdesigned.
Ahh but the eye covering is kind of essential for what I'm looking for. Hoping to avoid having to scrap together from too many different pieces. Looking for that fighter pilot type of look specifically.
I bought 2 for some potential swaps⊠but honestly Tombstone is too tall for anyone I had in mind. I originally wanted to find a way to get the extra Bruce Wayne head from the Mafex Batman on there.
I actually started making an 89 Bruce with this buck first before I did RS & JS. Yes, heâs a bit tall, but McFarlaneâs figs are typically outta scale anyways, so I just did it for fun to see the end result which I donât really mindđ
Well for McFarlane 7 inch figures it probably fits in pretty well. Just doesnât make sense for Tombstone/ML suited Bruce to be taller than Mafex Bats lol.
Itâs⊠solid but not even close to the best 2 pack. That Wolverine is okay, but wth is the ML team doing lately when it comes to alternate heads. Why are we getting heads that are barely any different (ooooooh his hat is black on this one đđ»)? Where the hell is the feral expression? And the way they did the elbows on that Wolverine is atrocious lol. They knew what they were doing by forcing it on everyone just to get Sabretooth, and for that alone itâs extremely frustrating.
Wait, this isnât really the She-Hulk everyone wanted is it? Iâm still waiting for a re-do of the purple and white stripe costume from the Blob BAF wave.
I took another look at the official and youâre totally right. Something about the fabric looks too⊠puffy or something idk lol. It should be a more satin material. Hopefully it comes with some worthwhile accessories to make it worth getting.

They were really cool. But they were really flawed compared to the ToyBiz and hasbro marvel figures.

Honestly kinda hard to tell, doesn't help the leak images are grainy and the cape is posed in the most plain way possible
