1. Unfortunately, nothing like that nearby. It’s shocking that Equinox hasn’t opened anywhere near Fort Lauderdale, just Aventura and I think soon in PBG. Otherwise, Lifetime in Boca is alright, but far.

  2. Miyako in Pompano is the best in South Florida, IMO.

  3. Gen Korean, Miyako, Deccan Spice

  4. Will he be playing 4/20 vs Nashville?

  5. Meh, many better suggestions in this thread, for sure.

  6. I remember when Hutchin’s had all you can eat for $25, including dessert. I think the only items excluded were beef rib, burnt ends, and Texas twinkies. Those were the days…

  7. Nothing like listening to Doris Burke during the most important 12 minutes of our season…

  8. I liked Dampf better personally. Prime was good though

  9. Jamal Adams to the Seahawks was pretty bad.

  10. Barber Club in pompano, $32, book with Stacia. There are cheaper options, but you get what you pay for. Many of those $15 places are very unclean or the barbers aren’t very skilled.

  11. Depends on several factors, but I’ve grown to love staying in Ginza, by a long shot.

  12. Idk in Fort Laudy but Tropical BBQ in West Palm Beach. Cajun gator.

  13. Came here to mention their gator sausage - so delicious.

  14. Cap One Venture X or Chase Sapphire Reserve. Although, in your case, you may see more value in the Amex Platinum, which gives you more lounge access, which is certainly nice to have when in airports frequently. Marriott’s hotel rewards program (Bonvoy) has the slight edge over Hyatt and Hilton, IMO.

  15. Start at Madruga Bakery in Gables, then see Vizcaya, then go to Little Havana and eat at either Versailles or Sanguich, then go to Brickell and walk around City Center, then make your way to Wynwood and walk around there, maybe grab another coffee at Panther, since that’s as central as you need to be, and if you’re looking for an affordable meal maybe consider Joe’s Pizza or Skinny Louie’s, then go to Design District and shop around, or grab dinner at the food hall up the escalator if you are looking for something more affordable. There you go, you’ve gotten a good tour of Miami.

  16. Thanks so much. My main thought around DCA was mainly considering the market currently topping out, as well as to drop in bigger chunks of cash as I see pullbacks, to keep some “powder dry.”

  17. DCA became very popular in 2022 while the market was recovering from the terrible Covid response.

  18. Thanks so much for taking the time to provide some feedback! I really appreciate it.

  19. If you have a faster pace of sightseeing, this is completely doable. In fact, I went early and visited the Castle and Shinsekai, then Izakaya Toyo for lunch, followed by 1-2 hours around Dotonburi, then took the train to Nara before sunset for an hour to the temple and deer park, followed by dinner at Maguro Koya. Of course, not everyone wants to travel at that pace, but I was based in Kyoto and only wanted to spend a day doing these things, even if it meant I couldn’t dive into each neighborhood. Also, Lilo coffee in Osaka is fantastic.

  20. Apocalypse and Hometown in Miami, Nev’s in PB, but two others I should mention are Chef Tally for jerk chicken, and Pepper & Salt near Vero (best in the state).

  21. Take the train in and get Katz's just once. It will set the proper baseline/dragon chaser for the remainder of your life.

  22. I agree, except don’t just go once. If you’re in Suffolk, you’re close enough to take a train in any time you want the best version of pastrami. Yes, it’s pricey for a sandwich, but you get what you pay for, and that is the absolute, hands down best pastrami on the planet. OP’s photo looks fantastic, though.

  23. Many clients need the additional services that come along with working with a CFP - the short-term treasuries are a small, simple part of their overall, likely complicated planning needs, especially since this is likely a taxable estate situation.

  24. Mostly agree but for the love of god skip conveyor belt sushi and just go over to Tsukiji for the real stuff. Sure the conveyor belt in itself is an experience, but it’d be a crime to settle for that quality of sushi when you came all the way to Japan.

  25. If already in the area, Kaiten Ginza Onadera is good quality, usually easy to get in, and not out of the way from most of the other tourist hotspots.

  26. Union Kitchen in Wilton Manors - I can’t believe this place flies so under the radar. Their food is fantastic. Also, the Katherine is good.
