That's why for me Redmane Knight Oga is the best summon against Malenia. All you need to do is to summon him in front of the gate and drag Malenia away on the other side of the arena. You get free artillery/ranged support without her healing off the summon. The only downside is you're the one who needs to maintain the aggro from Malenia, but i guess that's also a positive as you get to learn her moves rather than relying on your summon to tank all the damage.

For talismans, go for canvass talismas, godfrey icon, lightning scorpion ring (if you have enough resistance/defense to cover the negative resistances). For seals, double gravel stone seal +25 is recommended, but 1 gravel and 1 erdtree seal also works.

They're actually pretty popular in invasion faith builds like the double fire giant seal one-shot giants flame take thee build and the double dragon communion seal glintstone breath. It has the standard school romance tropes, but done in an excellent way. Pacing is perfect, no obnoxious side characters. Author was able to develop both the romance progression and character development of both MCs at the same time masterfully. It has a lot of subtle callbacks, rewarding the viewers who are observant to every scene from the previous episodes. Both MCs are not one dimensional self-insert, they have flaws on their own, making their character development extremely rewarding in the latter episodes. Personally it has become one, if not the best, romance anime of all time and my gold standard for any middle school coming-of-age romance moving forward.

Well, how do you supposed to stay edgy when you already accomplished your revenge? That's the main problem with Shield Hero, its a revenge story that finished it main draw on the first season. And because the main draw is already finished, the rest of the problematic stuff float into the forefront, especially the fact that his party members are almost all "enslaved but its okay because he is a nice slave owner uwu" and daughter figures.

Anyone who unironically praises genshin's lore/story/writing like its the second coming of christ needs to play more games aside from genshin. Hot take, lore/story is decent/passable at best. There are a lot of other games that has better fleshed out lore/story/writing than genshin.

Really hope Genshin doesn't turn into Pokemon mainline games wherein the game is stuck in eternal mediocrity because it still pumps out millions of dollars on IP alone and whiteknights always drown out the people who voiced out their criticisms on the game. Such as shame because Genshin, like Pokemon, has so much untapped potential to be better.

There isn't any challenge to it. Too often the combat is over in seconds because there's no skill needed to beat any enemies. The only time I've been able to hear the combat music in the game is listening to it on YouTube because by the time it's starting in game the mobs are dead and the music ends.

I'm down for Dark Souls level of difficulty for endgame contents, just for us to have motivation to go for vertical investments/minmax aside from abyss speedrunning
