I've always been curious as to why Canadian immigration is so heavily dominated by one state of India. I guess it's because of a history of Sikhs/Punjabis being in Canada for many decades
I honestly think it has nothing to do with history and has only to do with the sophisticated networks and business that have sprung up regarding immigration from there. Punjabs helping other Punjabs get to Canada is big business and since our treasonous politicians are bought and payed for by their corporate daddies it works perfectly fine for them to allow millions of cheap, low-skilled workers to pour in so its like a tacit agreement between scammers and capitalists
Booze though. As a former fat myself, when you drink a ton every night, and then eat a bunch because you’re hammered before you pass out, boom, easy extra 2000 calories. Cutting out alcohol made the rest of my lifestyle changes come relatively easily.
Why would anyone take the US seriously anymore? One of their two political parties is available to the highest bidder and they have 90+ million people who are dumb as rocks who will put that compromised government in power.

Yup THN polled all 30 GM’s in the league after the Crosby/Ovi/Phaneuf rookie season who’d you rather build around and I think Dion actually got like 4 votes which doesn’t sound like a lot but considering Crosby had 102 points and Ovi 106 as rookies it’s incredible Phaneuf was viewed so highly.
