I grew up in Missouri and my school would give you a “bongo” in the office for punishment. This was a paddling with an object similar to the photo here, and was done with the child bent over a desk while the admin people watched. My senior year one of my classmates, a massive guard on the football team, snatched the bongo pedal out of the principal’s hand and chased him with it through the school. He was an instant legend.
I just read The Magicians trilogy by Lev Grossman and Reynard makes an appearance in those books in a terrifying way… I haven’t had Old Dublin, but I smoked up a tin of University flake recently and enjoyed it.
I’ve played since Day 1 and I keep ONE roll, whichever is the best to me, of each weapon that drops. And I’m sitting with a vault with ten free spaces. Only two are sunset weapons that I kept for nostalgia reasons, and there are exotic armor pieces with good rolls, but otherwise just guns dating back through every season.
Wow. I know I have an OG Blast Furnace, Hammerhead, and Bygones in the vault. I assume the fixed perk weapons will still be able to be pulled from collections, too, right? If not, may need to pull and store a couple of those…
My voidlock uses a crafted Age Old Bond with destabilizing/repulsor and it rocks. My fave void hand cannon is the Ikelos, but it definitely does not stack up to Sunshot, or even Epochal. Maybe aim for a destabilizing/repulsor Recluse or, as already mentioned here, go with Graviton.
Ropp has a line of pipes with horn stems that are fantastic, and affordable. You get a well aged stummel with equally aged horn stem in some nice shapes. They tend to be smaller pipes so they make great travel companions. I have a small cutty with the horn stem that I keep in my small travel pouch (with tobacco, tool, and lighter).
Hooah! Congrats! I love big, chonky Pete’s and that one will give you some great, long smokes. I recently got a big system pipe that I’m really digging. I really gravitate to the larger Pete’s, B42, XL13, XL14, etc. Enjoy!
I used to Amtrak between Missouri and Texas and hated that there was no direct route to Memphis, then south. There should be a STL to MEM line at the very least.
This pedal looks like a perfect partner for my OP1. When I’m on the road, I take an OP1 and Reface CP for songwriting and this would be a great companion. I usually end up using the OP1 for percussion so I’m not using fx on there a lot of the time.
I think the “states rights” experiment has run its course. Time for federal law protecting abortion, gun control, and separation of church and state. Time to end these red state safehavens for bigots and idiots.

What's up with the Catching Waves triumph? It says, "Complete the 5th wave set in Onslaught on Legend difficulty." I have gone significantly past this many times, my highest on Legend so far being 22 or so, and it still isn't marked as completed. Is it bugged?
I just did a run where after the wave 25? mini trip to the pyramid it wiped us and ended the run when we jumped through the portal to return to Vostok.
Duality is the weekly dungeon so maybe I can finally get through it ONCE to get that cursed mission completed. Nobody seems to want to do this dungeon, and it doesn't help that I'm a noob at this one.
People have to work 2 or 3 jobs just to afford the basics while raising their kids. How the hell are parents supposed to teach and guide their children if they are never home except to sleep?

I run two primaries, but one is exotic: Wishender. It handles barrier and works well from a distance in the boss rooms. The other weapon is either incandescent Ammit or Epochal Integration, based on whether it’s unstoppables or overloads. I vary on heavy. People don’t like me using sword, but it’s saved the dcu many times.

I lowkey just enhanced an age old bond with repulsor and golden tricorn to try and recreate the power an exotic would. Gyrfalcons doesn’t need destab
If you have the pattern for a crafted Ikelos HC, you can get enhanced subsistence with enhanced repulsor brace. Pretty sweet!

I’m a big fan of the EHX Superego+. Lots of onboard fx and weird options. Watch a couple vids—it’s a crazy, powerful pedal.
