I managed to pick up the plants one in a charity shop for £3 recently when it was £15 full price. Wasn’t a huge fan of how the pieces fit together, they were very loose, but it came with a cool foldout poster and it was a fun one to do.
Me, my mum, and my sister all share the books we read so I only really buy a third of what I read. I haven’t spent any money on books this year yet as I’m trying to get through the ones I already have in my TBR pile (around 40). Last year I probably spent about £100 on books.
I also think she has pretty low expenses. I'd venture her cars are paid off, she rarely buys things, doesn't go on expensive trips, or trips that often, eats basic food, and a good chance her house is paid off. Advertisements pay quite a lot though. And all her affiliated links. I'd also venture to guess that in the beginning when she was making a lot more, she invested quite a bit.
I work with influencers and some of the smaller ones (~50k followers) charge upwards of $8,000 for one UGC video (they don’t even have to post this on their own accounts) so I imagine Rachel can charge a lot more. It’s a lucrative industry.
Thank you for thinking of the participants. I alway find a progress bar on a study really useful especially when the study itself is a bit monotonous. Knowing I’m progressing and seeing how much more there is is very helpful.
I second a progress bar. Nothing worse than having to do the same thing over and over for 15+ minutes and not knowing how long you have left. OP, if your studies are like this where it’s the same activity over and over, please add the opportunity to have breaks. I did a study with nine five minute tasks and I got to have a break between each one. It was so much better than having to do 45 minutes in one sitting.

Stevie Webb is one of my faves. He was Elder McKinley in The Book of Mormon in the West End for a few years (the show isn’t the same without him, he was just so amazing) and will soon be in the new Dolly Parton musical. He’s been in a few TV shows too. Very talented person.
Wicked UK tour. The acting wasn’t too bad although the person who played Elphaba wasn’t the best, it was very over acted. I was extremely disappointed by it seeing as it is so hyped up as one of the best musicals ever.
Kinky Boots, I can’t fathom how they made the entire show about the straight guy instead of the drag queens. The music is awful and that book is despicable
I didn’t get my 50m swimming badge because they thought I touched the floor but I absolutely didn’t. Didn’t get told until I was stood in front of the class getting my 25m when everyone else got their 50m. I cried in front of the class.
I remember going to hospital when I was 2. I told my mum about it a few years ago (after not talking about it since it happened) and she was impressed I remembered it and the amount of detail I could recall.
I did this one and got one of the ‘attention check’ questions wrong and it took me back to the start to read it again. I got approved but this was after your post so they probably realised they couldn’t reject me 🤣
When I was a kid, there was a saying many adults and teachers used to justify/sweep under the rug blatant bullying: "a horse kicks out of love." Yeah it sounds even worse in English.
I got told this so much. It’s just society normalising girls putting up with abuse. I wish I could go back in time and shout back at everyone who told me this that they’re wrong.
Just an update on this - I ended up querying it because they said I failed an attention check but as the survey was over 5 mins it should have been two checks. They sent a pretty rude reply back but they did change it to 'approved' so successful after all!

Who did you see? I saw Laura Pick in Edinburgh in December and thought she was absolutely incredible.
I can’t remember their name but it was the understudy I believe. I just felt like the dialogue was forced and the accent was a bit off
