When she says this line, the "camera" is only focused on Bojack. I interpretted it to mean that he felt like a coward in that moment so when he thinks back to this memory, he recalls it as Charlotte calling him a coward. Yes!! This whole sequence is chock full of quick funny lines. I also love Erin tossing Michael his go-bag (which is ridiculous for him to have), telling him it's empty, and Michael responding with the utmost exasperation, "You're telling me this NOW?!"
The scene I find the most cringy that I've never seen anyone bring up before is from the health care plan episode in season 1. It's the end of the day and everyone is standing around Michael's office because he promised a morale-boosting surprise. But he doesn't have a surprise - he knows it and everyone else in the office knows it too. Still they stand there, waiting for the non-existant surprise. Michael starts blabbering/drum rolling to stall so he can try to think of something on the spot, but of course he doesn't succeed so the blabbering goes on for an awkward amount of time until finally everyone starts to leave.
Not the original commenter, but I feel like it's only noticeable in some of her lines. The line that stands out in my memory is when she and Travis are in the plane talking about having sex and she's berating him for having outdated, sexist views. She says something like, "who made up that stupid fucking rule" and it sounds very Jersey-Italian-esque.
This is the only part of the cop storyline that I actually appreciate. It feels like a demonstration on how trauma has far-reaching impacts on many individuals, not just those who experienced the trauma directly.
For real, I've been in this sub since the second or third episode originally aired and have seen a really dramatic shift in the discussions. I feel like during the first season, the sub was small and generally a chill place, but now there are so many contentious and gate-keepy posts and comments.
What is OA shirt for, and what does it stream on. Thanks for any info. Also would it be appropriate for my older teenage boys? I don’t mind a little violence or cussing at all but, try and steer clear of sex stuff if possible. They don’t need any more reminders if that shit in their moron heads. Would it be safe in that regard.
The meaning of OA is sort of a spoiler as it's something revealed in the show. I would say overall it's safe for older teenage boys (most of the characters are teenage boys), but from what I recall, there are 2 sex scenes in the first season and 1.5 sex scenes in the second season.
After 2 hours of learning sewing machine basics, losing my threads over and over again, and giving myself several mini panic attacks, I was finally able to sew a tiny pouch. It looks superb as a cover for my pointer finger. Also, just joined this community, hello! 👋
I started drawing these in August when I spent time in a psych ward working on my depression. Eventually it turned out a lot of people really liked the things I put on paper.
Sort of -- it was definitely my first clue that I was on the wrong side of this story. When I looked around and saw that I shared an opinion with really despicable, aggressive misogynists, it gave me pause. Even when I favored JD, I did not like how the online community was vehemently trying to tear Amber Heard down. It was over the top. I remember during the VA trial, there were so many YouTube short clips of her in court with mocking music or obnoxious commentary. So much energy spent trying to dominate the narrative and paint her as the bad guy.
Let’s talk about the advice card first. Fours are of a grounding nature. Wands is of a fire mature. Things are certainly happening fast and you should ground yourself to make a decision. You must build a strong foundation with yourself now because change is coming.
