1. Not sure this will help you, but when I was feeling like that I forced myself to do stuff. I forced myself to go to the gym, I forced myself to go to clubs even when I wasn't feeling like it. I gave myself the "you have to do this" mentality to those things, and sure enough (even though it sucked at first) I ended up making fantastic friends by being in those clubs and feeling more capable because I was working out.

  2. The biggest benefit of the exams is how much money you can save by not having to take certain classes since you've already gotten those credits for much cheaper:

  3. Hi, where did you find this playlist? People keep posting about it but I've had no luck in finding it

  4. they were first posting on SoundCloud under hal9000000 but now they are posting on their Glass Animals SoundCloud page

  5. You don’t go to college because you’re already good at something.

  6. Interest is more important than ability in the long run.

  7. Thank you! This is a really encouraging response and it makes me feel a lot better about doing it in college

  8. ……did you fucking say middle school??? How the fuck do kids even know about that shit in middle school?!?!

  9. I mean, there was a kid that used to sit in the back of my class in 5th grade specifically so that he could jerk off without getting caught

  10. You pay around $185 for the pass (if you can get one), then you have to go online for each game to “claim” a ticket (again, if you can get one). No guarantee at either step. They have more students than passes, and less actual tickets than passes. Once you buy the pass, no extra charge for the actual ticket.

  11. I’m going to second the folks who have mentioned 30 Rock, Community, and Superstore.

  12. I appreciate the help! Also as I am aware it’s a lottery system so me doing housing will make no difference than if I were to june 4th. Is this true?

  13. yeah, when I visited they said it was a lottery system, so long as you apply before the housing deadline

  14. Every sorority has a wide variety of girls with different personalities and preferences to how often they want to go to a party! I’d recommend COB, rather than primary recruitment, to really get to know the members and the community within

  15. I think short hair might fit your face better, but if your aim is long hair that will probably take a while to grow to (many months). I'd cut bangs within a month, since the current bang length looks alright but it seems to be almost at the point where it's just going to be in your eyes constantly.

  16. They're similar enough imo that I would suggest picking the one you just like more. CU def has a closer connection to NASA, and while I have known several Mines students who interned there, I have to imagine CU might have more opportunities that could help you out. Like I know that doing space-related research (esp. NASA funded) is a big boost for your application to the Pathways program. CU has way more of that than Mines and it's not remotely close. Also I know that JPL is often at the Boulder career fair and I don't think they've ever been to Mines -def not since I've started here. But otoh Mines consistently has more aerospace companies show up, and oddly enough, seems to be a bit more of a space industry feeder school than Boulder. We also def have some rock star space-minded students here.

  17. The mood shift right after "now that I know that part of you's not part of this" in Helium

  18. william sent a message, at some point, to michael, telling him to explore the remains of circus baby's pizza world. william, most likely, intended for the animatronics there to kill michael, as they were sapient enough to think for themselves and REALLY didn't like being sealed underground for years. circus baby, in particular, was unhappy with it. possessed by elizabeth, her own murderous programming made her personality the spitting sociopathic image of her father, with a skill at masquerading childlike innocence. eventually, the animatronics combined themselves into an endoskeleton amalgam they called ennard, and tricked michael into what they called the scooping room (whose purpose was to violently rip endoskeletons out of animatronics during maintenance). as he was a flesh and blood human, michael getting scooped was a fair bit more fatal. ennard then took to wearing michael's remains as a human suit, aiming to pass themselves off as a person so they could see the outside world. it worked, for a little while, until michael rotted enough for them to have to leave. their own presence inside him produced enough remnant for him to get back up, gunning for revenge against his father.
