1. I wish I had an answer for you. My father won the game and we can’t even convince him to do basic maintenance on his house.

  2. I like the term “when you love someone, you have to make peace with their choices”. A lot of us having stubborn aging parents and they don’t want to listen to their children. Making peace with it is likely the best course.

  3. The reunion was laughably a witch hunt. Nick and Venessa were being so self righteous to get the audience on their side. It was embarrassing to watch.

  4. This was Clay’s ultimate revenge and the only reason he came on the show 😂😂😂

  5. I saw this in real life and was disappointed. The material looks cheap. I have a similar shirt with flowers and it looks nicer and pricier.

  6. Retirement is not needing to work. You can still be "retired" and work if you find your work enjoyable and fulfilling.

  7. I love the phrase “retiring is not needing to work”. I want to fire because I can choose to work vs needing to work. It’s the freedom of knowing you can walk away from a toxic job.

  8. I’d advise against counting the home equity unless you’re planning to sell and distribute funds in the brokerage. If you’d like to retire today and spend $180K, you’ll need $3.6M.

  9. I was wondering the same thing. It’s very distracting. I would have worn a hat if I was him.

  10. I wouldn’t recommend accounting for unvested stocks. Have you thought of moving to a non-FAANG/less competitive company?

  11. Super relaxing. No deadlines. Every day a Saturday.

  12. Seattle is very walkable for me. I live in Fremont and work in SLU. I can walk from Fremont to Downtown to Cap Hill very easily.

  13. I have a hard time believing you will only make $100-$150K with a new job. A systems architect in tech make considerably more, especially if you find a FAANH role.

  14. I feel you OP. Management jobs are intense and stressful, because you’re being pressed by the people above and beneath you. You should be proud that you worked your way up the chain despite your neurodivergence.

  15. I would prob look at diversifying your company RSUs once they’re vested. Otherwise seems solid.

  16. The $135K is the vested amount. Unvested there’s around $270K, but I didn’t count since I don’t know how much longer I want to stick around.

  17. Im in a similar rsu boat at a faang here. It really depends on your risk tolerance and faith in your company. Some people prefer selling rsus day of vest because the shares held back cover the taxes. Then just invest that in index funds. This basically locks in your guaranteed rsu “bonus” and you don’t have further tax implications if you are withholding shares properly. I prefer to hold my rsu shares for a year and pay any long term capital gains that might occur. I basically sell the year old batch when a new batch vests to keep my rsu balance relatively stable.

  18. I set my settings to sell enough to cover the taxes for the year. Usually that means 35% are sold for taxes instantly right after vest. I hold on to the rest knowing there’s a 15% capital gains after.

  19. I missed the pizza window. They need to bring it back. It’s such a prime location to be empty.

  20. Come on Netflix. I feel embarrassed for you. I initially thought it was my internet and gave you the benefit of the doubt.

  21. I really like Marshall but I was so disappointed when he called Jackie a project. It never ends well when you enter a relationship to be someone’s savior.

  22. i think the show in general is so much better with older couples

  23. That’s why Brett and Tiffany work so well. They communicate so well and knew what they were looking for in the pods!

  24. I feel bad for Sihun. He was so sure about Jia and that his feelings were being reciprocated. She kind of strung him along.
