What you mean reach full potential? A few days is more than enough for me to know if I like them. I listen to hardstyle primarily and highs can get annoying really fast with this music. I have to turn treble down a notch or 2 on every speaker but for these it doesn’t help. Still too much and if turn treble down even further they sound muffled. Spend a few hours EQ’ing them but not able to succeed without destroying the sound profile.

I currently have the J2 4499EX with Sparkos SS2590 dual pros, running balanced. I'm on an LPS, with inline supercapacitor bank. Also feeding the DAC from an Intona USB isolation 7055-D
Yeah, people have mentioned that you really need to use the J2S' balanced outputs, and single-ended isn't nearly as good, and I think they're right. I only tried the RCA outs... so I missed out there. (Instrument separation was still damn good though.) The other quirk with the J2S is that the USB input is ~by far~ the best input, but.... it's not galvanically isolated and you really must use an isolator like the Intona otherwise you will deeeefinitely hear background noise.
So I can't just copy my client profile to set up the server, then give my friend that profile? I need to go through each individual mod and tell him which ones he needs to install, because he can't just be running them all?

Idk, complaining is a form of troubleshooting when it comes to technology. Usually the community finds a band aid (or what shpuld be) of a workaround until the developer finds and issues a fix.
