1. It's the first day of a new month and that's when licensing changes.

  2. Movies Anywhere is the only service that shares your library between stores. If it's not MA, you aren't going to get it from Google to Vudu.

  3. Yes it is massively wrong. NYC and Chicago aren't 10 million or higher. Assuming he's counting metro, NYC would be over 10 million but Chicago wouldn't. Chicago is only 2.7 million in the city. Chicago's entire metro is only 9.4 million people so it shouldn't even be on the list either way. That's what gets me. He could have said "largest cities compared" instead of "10 million."

  4. Most people think of cities relative to their metro population. San Francisco is usually thought of as a larger city than San Diego, because it has a larger metro population, even though San Diego is technically a bigger city.

  5. I get that but I think of it as cities or regions. Tampa, FL would be just Tampa. Tampa Bay Region would be Tampa, Clearwater, St. Petersburg. Denver, CO is just Denver where the Front Range would include Aurora, Boulder, etc. Sounds like most people are expanding out much further like the TV or Sports team markets.

  6. Totally understandable. Every few years I'll successfully New Years Eve Resolution off them for several months and then inevitably come back. I know I should stick to hot and iced teas and I love those too but I'll start by having one energy drink here and there and then one a day quickly becomes two a day. Lately, I've had three a day and I do feel tired most of the time. I enjoy several flavors of Ghosts and the Monster Ultra Strawberry Dream. I stockpile it, mainly because some flavors are hard to find much of the time, but it is also an addiction. I see parallels in my behavior to energy drinks as an alcoholic to alcohol in the mental gymnastics that lead to a fourth can in one day. I guess anything I have a physical or mental addiction to I stockpile. It's not that I can't run down and find an energy drink if I run out but I guess I sleep better knowing I can start my day with one before my morning dog walk.

  7. I've microdosed for stretches of time and find it helps with the depression but I prefer a Level 4-5 dose with the occasional level 6 Heroic Dose every 3-4 weeks. I usually trip alone but occasionally trip with other people. If tripping in a group larger than 3 I prefer a Level 4 dose and am not comfortable going 5-6. That's where I lose control and grow from the experience and I prefer to do that alone at home with a sober person in another part of the house.

  8. I don't think I've seen a Fox/Disney Fanflix deal. Universal has had 2-3 but it's mostly Lionsgate, Paramount, WB, Sony that do Fanflix deals. Re Planet of the Apes, just be patient. I think I paid $5 for each but that was because I missed the $30 sale for the 9 movies. So I was a few movies in and just nickeled them over about a year and a half to get the rest. Just keep an eye on the sales on Movies Anywhere and

  9. Consider the month just changed to May, licensing probably was up.

  10. Vudu sub plot twist, the user with 16,000 movies in their library is actually the library network in Boise. That would be hilarious. It's cool the library can do this but I wonder how many devices they can have on the same account and wonder what happens if two people try to play the same movie.

  11. Only 1 person at a time per film, but I've shared my login info with like 15+ friends and never had issues.

  12. You'd think so since those are the rules for us but libraries may get certain exceptions.

  13. I have already done my own searches and on the very first page of an "aspartame Parkinson's " Google search it mentions this. There are studies that say a certain amount won't progress Parkinson's in one study. You can't ignore the other studies and warnings.

  14. Yes but the hit less than 1% market share in like 2016. 😆

  15. Seems like it should also play on my Rog Ally that uses windows. Thanks for the heads up.

  16. Good point. I may have to put Windows on my Steam Deck if I'm ever going to watch the 25 James Bond films I nabbed for $4.99 ($.42 after redeeming a gift card with MS rewards). I have a last gen Xbox hooked to my crappiest TV and two Windows computers but I hate watching content on them that way but the handheld idea is a good one. Microsoft at the very least should make their own streaming stick if they aren't going to play nice with Firestick, Roku, Google, etc.

  17. Same, but my ex father in law said it all the time. I'd never heard anyone else say it outside of us making fun of him. I take it this is fairly common?

  18. I saw on another post that real olive oil is never in plastic. I saw in the news that most olive oil in the US isn't real olive oil.

  19. I'm not sure how it's OG when it's not their flagship flavor at launch. Is this new or just not available in my Country/State? I've never even seen it on here or offline. Also, I hope the smaller can isn't a sign of things to come. Is it still 200mg caffeine?

  20. 2023 was both the best year and the worst year for my mental health. In the first half, I came into a down payment on my new house and moved to my new house in a new town. I adopted a new dog who became my best friend and another baby ferret. I was so happy and each day looked up into the sky and thanked God/Universe for my life. My mental health was on the upswing since I had established a quiet and peaceful life for myself.

  21. I have a neighbor that has a no pissing sign, I’m a responsible dog owner, I pick up poo, but I’m not sure how to prevent my dog from pissing on something… he’s a dog.

  22. That's understandable though oh his behalf, although not enforceable. I can point out where my dog pees in my yard by the yellow/brown dead grass. If I saw that no peeing sign I'd simply pull my dog on down beyond his yard to the next yard and let him pee. It's not going to prevent everyone from letting their dog pee in his yard but most people would have the courtesy to at least try to get their dog to pee somewhere else.

  23. I hate to be that guy, but you kinda get what you deserve for breaking the golden rule. TV's don't belong above fireplaces. Even your home is trying to tell you that! LOL

  24. Could be worse. Imagine if they forgot the cheese instead.

  25. I would love to get this movie upgraded. Congratulations. I've mostly had movies upgraded that I already upgraded. Weird, I know.

  26. It's a recent phenomena and usually is just a day at that price. It gets confusing because you might see a movie on your wishlist on sale all month for $9.99 and then during the deal of the day be $6.99. it's not just one item, as you stated it can be many on deal if the day. So in general if you see a deal like that you might have overnight, but I'd buy that day.

  27. For what it’s worth, I’ve never had any gaming price errors revoked by Xbox. Hoping the same is true for this.

  28. They shouldn't. Vudu honors their mistakes so MS should here. Prime only reneged because they gave the movies away for free by mistake. Paying anything at all is a good sign 😆

  29. At 20cents a movie, I'll take the only watching on PC/xbox "L"

  30. Does MS Movies and TV not have an app on Roku or anywhere else? Just PC or Xbox?

  31. Eyes Wide Shut is a most have. Encino Man is a fun have. Any Given Sunday is a watch it once kinda movie.
