I did some research the other day and saw reviews and Reddit posts about how either the left or the right earbuds battery dies fully after a year. It means that it has an effective use case of an hr while the other earbud can do multiple hours no problem. Looking into returning them since I don't want a paper weight that is useless after a year. Really sucks because I loved them and their fit.
Hey, so I was literally in the same boat as you. However, I ended up ordering Air anyway with the 16GB RAM upgrade. For me, I would not be using the Pro laptops capability to its full potential and I personally don't think that the higher refresh rate screens make a big difference in my day to day use. So it was not worth the additional $500. This is with me having 90Hz screen on my phone and a high refresh rate monitor at home. I cannot attest to how the Air is since I am stilling waiting for one, someone else in reddit can probably fill you in on how the battery life is. My friend does have the Air and even with moderate to heavy use he is able to use it all day on battery. Workload includes a lot of chrome tabs and development (coding) work for school and work and he does say everything feels snappy.
Do you think the M2 MBA 16GB ram is enough to power an external display and not slow down to prevent heating? My intel gets so slow when I plug it to my monitor and it gets noisy very quickly.
So what I understand is that the MBA can only support one external monitor max specs being 6k at 60hz. I recall my friend connected his to a 4K TV at 60 hz and it was fine, I don't think it overheated or anything.

Took ECE 203 with him. Guy shows up for our final with our finals 1-2 hrs after we were supposed to start. Very confusing when he tried to explain some concepts. Made multiple errors when he tried to do questions on the board without his ppt, which happens and it's fine but something to note. Used some crappy website that he made using bare HTML and not Learn due to some "personal beliefs" or some crap. The website wasn't updated consistently with new documents which was another pain point. I wouldn't recommend him but MAYBE he is better in a graduate course.
I think the the whole ECE204 thing was a one time thing. So basically there are only 39 students in a class of max 120 students. So it's kinda sus nobody enrolled in his class.
Literally was in your situation a few years ago. Go to uwaterloo. The coop money alone would exceed the 16k scholarship you'll ever get.
