How many hours do you get to park at Contemporary Resort if you have a dining reservation? Does it matter which restaurant you dine at? What are the costs incurred if you stay longer than that time?
I’ve had luck just asking the security guard at the parking gate. Each time they’ve allowed me to stay the day. I really don’t think they have ability, man power, or motivation to ticket/tow vehicles
If you are talking November 2024, consider renting DVC points for BC. It will be much cheaper than rack rates through Disney. Only downside is that payment is up front and non-cancellable. Plus it is a very desired resort so you will want to book 11 months prior. There are many reputable online rental sites. If you go through them, the process is easy and safe.
It’s nearly impossible to rent beach club points now. Many home-resort owners don’t rent their points at the 11 month mark, and at the 7 month point, there tends to be no availability in the villas. Especially with the renovations happening in the villas this year that will reduce the availability at any given time.
I can't speak for Disney policy, since I'm just some rando on the internet, but I've never seen a race take a split as POT. That being said, a 3:27 should still get you into A, or B at worst. I'd be stunned if you don't get A with that time, really.
Honestly if you’re staying at a nice enough hotel I say send the fam in with some bathing suits to check out the pool even if the room isn’t ready while you take a nap in the car
