Hey there. I'l chime in my experience on this. I had CBP from enterococcus faecalis and e. coli 5 years ago. I had urinary symptoms, some cocyx pain and pernieal discomfort. Did cipro for 4 weeks, nothing cleared up. Then amox+ clavulanic acid for 4 weeks - e.coli cleared up but enterococcus faecalis was still there. After that some doctor prescribed me flagyl, prulifloxacin for 10 days and gentamicin for 4 days, the bacteria still showed up on the culture but somehow symptoms got better. After almost a year I did IV piperacilin for 20 days with 4 days of gentamicin (for high level synergy of both antibiotics), post-treatment bacteriological culture showed that entoroc. faecalis was still there. After all this and a bunch of bad side effects from the antibiotics I tried out phage therapy in Poland. This finally cleared up the infection. No enterococcus faecalis showed up 3 weeks after treatment nor 6 months after the treatment. My symptoms also were gone, I was finally cured. I must say though that my symptoms continuosly improved all along this 1 year journey to get cured, however they improved the msot after the phage treatment, without doubt.

Why tf would you give a patient Azythromycin 1000mg when you've just tested him negative on Chlamydia and gonnorhea is beyond me. Same with your telemedicine docs (do these dudes get paid per antibiotic they prescribe?). Moxi is a heavy antibiotic and shouldn't just be prescribed like that.
