1. Thats good to know! I hope that everyone who has made a crochet swimsuit has used this and not like, redheart lol

  2. Did you try scrolling it up and down? Or flicking left/right? There should be a visible button regardless of scrolling, unless they've changed something recently. You might want to try doing that particular lesson in the web version of Busuu if you can't advance further.

  3. Yes, this would be nice. Also to be able to do the same for buying upgrades. Then I can just put 1Bil into it every now and then instead of needing all 10bil at once.

  4. That's how I use my bank account. I deposit money every day or so. When the account has enough for the next upgrade I want, I withdraw everything and purchase. Then start over.

  5. Pretty sure the stuff in the (Italian) supermarket all uses plain white vinegar. Unless it's something fancy and specifies otherwise.

  6. Is Cascade Platinum one of those all-in-one tablets? My newer dishwasher manual said not to use them because they won't work well in that machine.

  7. I think there are subreddits out there dedicated to reading old writing. Maybe one of them can help decipher exactly what it says. Then the cobblers can "translate" it.

  8. The church fathers are the church fathers simply because they agreed with one another. They "cancelled" anyone who disagreed with them.

  9. Add wishing well. And pets. You're going to want a few level 6 pets ASAP, so make sure you're also doing sawmill silver. The red dragon's herbs are sooooo important.

  10. thank you so much for the info! Oh my god it looks even more beautiful in those photos since I can actually see the details up-close. Such a shame... I'm a good sewist but I'm not sure I can pull this off

  11. It looks like you could buy a similar plain white dress, then purchase embroidered flower motifs from various places. Stitch the motifs to the top layer of tulle by hand. Voila! One of a kind designer dress.

  12. If the GP isn't available and you live in a bigger town, you can try getting a European Prescription from a call-a-doc / 'video visit'. There are websites providing this service, doc will issue a EP prx which some pharmacies have no problems accepting.

  13. I did this once when I had just arrived and didn't have a Hausarzt yet. The pharmacist barely glanced at the e-prescription before handing over the antibiotics.

  14. Don't call, just go there. On the phone they can say they don't have any appointments but they can't legally refuse treatment if you're there and you need urgent care.

  15. Makes sense! I have a good Hausarzt and haven't had to wait more than 24 hours for (semi)urgent things. Some people might not be so lucky.

  16. I bet in size 3 font that you could fit the whole bible into 250 pages

  17. In the 90s (and possibly still today), they sold novelty bibles with very, very tiny print. They were sometimes whole bibles, sometimes just the NT + Psalms. But they were small enough to be worn as a necklace. Someone with a magnifying glass (sometimes, one was included) could still read the text.

  18. All the components look doable. There will definitely be some fiddly areas, though. Good luck and if you do try it, keep us posted.

  19. I agree. AI, but absolutely looks possible. It might not be identical, but close!

  20. I don't think there's an age barrier when becoming a priest or a monk, so you can be one when you're a widower

  21. I've seen some of Steve1989's stuff, but I don't think I've ever seen that one.

  22. I donā€™t disagree with you but brand specifications was a problem my mother knew about when I was young but I didnā€™t. ā€œNo, you canā€™t get the Kraft PB it has to be the Jif because she thinks Kraft is too dry.ā€ I was like 2 and it was already a thing. Brand specification with ARFID doesnā€™t have to have anything to do with the image or the branding, itā€™s the actual product and the slight differences you find from brand to brand.

  23. That's not "brand awareness", tho? Unless you'll only eat Jif and not the store brand, even if the store brand is literally identical.

  24. Is there a sub for ARFID? Iā€™m struggling getting anything but chicken nuggets and junk food into him

  25. Autistic children often have, if not actual ARFID, something similar. So you might find help in the Autism/AD(H)D subreddits.

  26. Is this racist? If it is, I missed it. If youā€™re using racism as an analogy, I think itā€™s a false equivalence in a long list of ways.

  27. Apparently, some people have taken to posting "Christ is King" to Jewish people. It's recently become a dog whistle to antisemitic people.

  28. Open up Google Maps, click on "restaurants" and then filter by "open now". There aren't going to be a ton of options, so you'll have to take what you can get.

  29. around 14 restaurants still open within the inner ring, i'd not say that this isn't a good selection to choose from

  30. The number of places to choose from is okay. The food quality at these places near midnight might not be so good. šŸ¤£

  31. I would hate having to do that. Unfortunately, lots and lots of repetition will likely be the only way you're able to do this. Instead of playing video games or whatever, you'll need to be repeating these dialogues to yourself or listening to recordings of you saying these dialogues or whatever. Sounds boring, but there are no guaranteed ways to memorize long texts. Not ones that work for everyone. Maybe you'll eventually find something that works for you.

  32. Thanks for the reply! Sucks that there's never a universal solution for anything language learning, but it's also expected šŸ«

  33. If you're not aphantasiac, something like a memory castle might work for you. Unless you need to know these dialogues at the end of the semester, trying to learn these things "permanently" will likely take time away from other studying you might need to do.

  34. That's knit. There is a Tunisian knit stitch that looks similar, but otherwise getting this look with crochet will be a bit of a hassle.

  35. I think your best bet would be to find a sewing pattern for a similar capelet and then try to reproduce the shapes with knitting. Sew everything together. I think the pieces will be rectangular, or mostly so. Check over on

  36. Itā€™s made out of acrylic yarn. I appreciate your suggestion, Iā€™m going to do this!

  37. Okay, good. Acrylic should be good to go, then! If it was wool, there one would need to consider the type of wool/wool blend/etc.
