1. I have a friend who got in NYU ED1 with a 3.69 GPA! Her essays and ECs were very good though. I believe in u

  2. I’ll say what worked best for me was quality over quantity. Obviously you need the GPA and pre-reqs but with your ec’s try to point out a specific achievement you can attach to your time there. Did you plan any large events? Big projects? Placed well in competitions? It’s easy to join a club and run for board but what you do there matters.

  3. congrats on your journey. you should feel proud and accomplished. not everyone would be able to do what you did.

  4. No it doesn’t look bad but glazing the wolverines on this sub does

  5. Just stay at CC. Saving the money is worth it. You don’t have to search for a reason to transfer when you’re at a CC, you cannot get a four year degree there

  6. You can get into MSU but not be admitted into Broad. I believe you have to do a case study and be admitted after you finish your pre reqs. Pretty sure you can’t transfer directly into Broad

  7. Also, all of your classes/credits will probably not transfer over depending on what you took

  8. Yeah, I know they won’t ALL transfer but I have a MTA, it’s a Michigan transfer agreement. I’ll be getting my associates in business as well, would that help?

  9. You must have it complete to be considered. “Complete the exact equivalent of the University of Michigan's courses listed below, each with a grade of C-* or better, by June 1: “ … “Any course in Calculus I, II, or III (U-M’s MATH 115, 116, or 215).”

  10. I understand that uofm and Ross both have applications, but how can this work with my schedule? I can only take calc either next fall (when I apply) or next winter.

  11. Make sure to complete the business prereqs to be considered for admissions direct into broad.

  12. What if I haven’t taken calc? Could I still be accepted into the universities and just take it there?

  13. You don’t need to major in criminal justice to apply for law school, I’d also recommend doing research on salaries. You don’t get paid much for anything you’re wanting to so

  14. Reach out to your insurance, they will walk you through the process.

  15. Do you think they’ll pay for a paint job? I had to replace the door with a different color door

  16. Because I need my car to drive to school, especially since it's the end of the semester and I have no other vehicle. Should I speak to my lawyer about this?

  17. If you’re confident you want to go into supply chain management you should go to MSU. I had 7 job offers coming out of college and ended up taking a very high paying job for only having a bachelors degree. Also, apartments at MSU are about $400 a month cheaper for an equivalent apartment at UMAA. Ann Arbor is a very expensive city to live in.

  18. Dearborn is 15 mins, AA is about 45 minutes, MSU is about an hour and a half… which is unfortunate, since I wouldn’t be able to live on campus. But I’d push thru.

  19. I don’t think that’s an option with MSU. You are required to live in a dorm your freshman and sophomore years and I don’t think your home town is close enough to qualify for an exception.

  20. Ann Arbor or MSU. Dearborn is nowhere near either of the programs.
