1. Not sure if anyone else feels this but I don’t get heart racing or anything like that. But I do get this feeling of fire in my veins and central nervous system and extreme agitation. It sucks.

  2. When you are enrolled at least part time your school will need to notify loan servicer, which will put you on in school deferment. When you are in this status it does NOT count towards PSLF progress. So if you plan to continue paying your existing loans while enrolled you need to contact MOHELA and waive the in school deferment.

  3. Hypothetically speaking, If I am unable to work full time after my second year of my Ph.D program. Can I request to be back on school deferment to avoid the interest fees in my subsidized loan? 😬

  4. This make sense! Thank you so much. 🙏

  5. Appreciate your comment. $22k including contractor?

  6. Gold faucets, hand made cabinets, imported marble from Italy ? Or Home depot scratch n dent specials ? what are you going for ?

  7. Definitely not gold faucets. Just something simple I guess. I am useless when it comes to DIYs and home improvement stuff. I added a link to show what I’m thinking the kitchen could look like. I just don’t know what would be the cost but would like to hear an estimate.

  8. For the Model X Plaid that I took delivery yesterday, the following is the breakdown for Ventura County, California.

  9. This is the comment I was looking for. Thank you. Congrats on the purchase. It’s gonna be a wild ride! :)

  10. Don’t forget to use a referral for $1,000 off!

  11. I’m so dumb. Where is the referral code or how do I do this?:0

  12. Are you a classroom teacher? Which would make you part of CalSTRS. STRS or PERS is your pension fund, it's part of your compensation and is really valuable to you if you make a career in education.

  13. Hi Vman1909, thanks you kindly for your response. I’m going to start my first year as a school psychologist. I’m definitely sticking around to my career till I turn 65 or older.

  14. This is such a loaded derogatory question. Are you from OC or were you actually born there? I’m willing to place my bets you’re not even from California. If you were then you’d know Orange County is notoriously conservative. Presumably more so than Bakersfield. You’re just equating and projecting the tired cowboy shit kicker stereotype of Bakersfield. And that we’re some dumping ground for 2’nd class citizens. It isn’t cheap to live here and our laws are no different than anywhere else in the state. TF are you even talking about. People move to Texas because their Jobs closed up here and relocated. That or they want to play with shoot em cowboy with Jesus and Space Karen. btw I was born and raised in the 714 and now live in Bakersfield. Please spare me whatever it is you think of either county. How about you move out of state boss!

  15. I think for the most part, yes. I don’t really think it’s a financial thing!

  16. See, I definitely agree with you. I was thinking that too but isn’t Bakersfield conservative like Texas? Conservative values and very republican? But perhaps it’s still because people are in Cali which makes people want to leave. I think bakes is a hidden gem in terms of moving here than in Texas.

  17. Do these incentives also apply to the model y?

  18. Don’t worry. I trended on Reddit with regards to my 18% APR rate. Check it out. There is helpful info from many redditors. :)

  19. You're getting kind of ripped apart enough in the comments, so I just want to commend you on having the intuition to acknowledge you potentially messed up, to swallow your pride and get feedback from others. Many, many people unfortunately take huge car loans and end up paying double or triple what a car is worth over time like you just almost did. Thankfully you can return it because in my state, there is no cooling off period and once your signature is on the paper you are hosed. If you can return the car, you've learned a valuable lesson at no cost which is way cheaper than most people's financial mistakes.

  20. Wow! Cheeeeeeeezits, I really felt your comment. Thank you for your kind words. I can honestly says that moving forward I will always be cautious with financial situations. I was literally sitting in my “new car” and just had to read the fine print again. I’m heading to the dealership tomorrow to return the car. Shoot, they’ll probably tell me I made the right choice.

  21. Yes!!!! I completely forgot to add that I have Caremax/warranty. I signed up for 2k warranty that applied to my loan. It would cover 60 months/ 150k miles
