1. Not only shady, but when said and done, OP will be loosing about 30% of the hourly rate to paying taxes/fica

  2. Testing of our old outdated stuff from the cold war to early 2000's era. The new stuff we don't give them is much much better. We give them the the old stuff and use the billions to buy new stuff that we will just give away again in 20-30 years. Unless WW3 happens...

  3. That sub- orbital explosion of a ballistic missile last week was not using old tech. Even just seeing the strategies used is a learning experience. What is happening with drones and tactics is incredible. Well, except for that turtle tank 😆

  4. Yeah the sub orbital strike was definitely cool to see. But for all we know it was "old tech" also we didn't give them to Israel. We launched it ourself. Tin foil hat on I would almost say that maybe just maybe The US knew that was the one missile launched that didn't contain a conventional warhead and we didn't want to see WW3 start yet.

  5. Good point. Not any "new" tech we see anyway!

  6. Get back on that bicycle, you don't need to be behind a wheel with that assumptive attitude and making this personal.

  7. Ahh, you the popo? GTFOH, who made you the righteous decider of safe driving?

  8. Corner looks fine to me, but the top side on the left I'm hoping just isn't done yet

  9. Or were they fighting Montezuma's revenge?

  10. We joked that the guys with the lowest ASFAB scores they gave guns in the AF...

  11. I just use it till I level them up. Complitionist here.

  12. It must be so difficult finding comfort at 410# nothing is made to fit you.

  13. Try being both. 6 foot 4, 430. Things were so much easier to find at 270.

  14. This group obviously doesn't get sarcasm.

  15. Fabulous Landscapes are what caught my Eye: Iceland, Himalayas etc. The leopard segment with Sean Penn was amazing. This was very very losely named/remake after the original with Danny Kaye, but not, which was great.

  16. The cinematography is what makes me watch this time and time again. Just a lovely film.

  17. I have a Dorch stage 2 HPFP and get a wholesome 12mpg

  18. If you’re a big guy, good luck lol. I’m 6’2, 250 and couldn’t find anything that fit me.

  19. Should have called it Blade-man and given him a bright costume.

  20. Fuck that. I would’ve pulled his bag out, put mine in the space and said, “I think this is yours“ as I handed it to him.

  21. Yep, take the passive out of the aggression! Not my problem, pal.

  22. Sucking, but a lot of contacts. Start a new job in a few weeks, but that was through a direct application.

  23. Waiting for IT to recover… as we go into another four years of insane politicians not caring about anyone but themselves. I am coming from UX design, which got absolutely nuked with the recession… Now I have to wait for the economy to fix itself? More tech layoffs are happening right now, and with AI taking the jobs of people, I'm looking into jobs in smaller construction companies and less of IT nowadays.

  24. Construction is always a good secondary market. I do data center construction. Best of both worlds, still saturated market though.

  25. How should I lower them? I’m already applying to entry level coordinator roles even though I’m not technically entry level in most of them. Last job I took I was unemployed 9 months before the offer and it was a $10k pay cut from my first experience in project management.

  26. Do anything you can to survive right now in the industry you want to move into. Get good and be ready for the next opportunity. It's tough out there. The only thing stopping you is your knowledge and time. You can only change one of those.

  27. They didn't disclose this, and the last buyer walked away on the day they were supposed to sign. Some of the cracks are caulked, and a lot of that caulk is failing, so they knew about these issues.

  28. Is there a prior inspection that was included? Hiding anything else?

  29. Side note: pat on the back for asking. Better safe than sorry. Glad someone out here is getting some action.

  30. It's harder to roll if it's inside out. You just have to look at the direction it's rolled up and that'll tell you how to put it on

  31. It's damn near impossible to unroll inside out.

  32. It carried the first Black man on the shuttle. It should be reinvestigated as hate crime.

  33. Unless you're Miles O'Brien, put that text in quotes.

  34. And if that is Miles, I loved the CNN special, especially the last segment when everyone started questioning what they could have done. Him stating that he should have asked the question about why more was not being done. The look on his (your) face...

  35. 1/2 glass with a tub is worse. Have the pictures of a bruise on my leg from falling to prove it.

  36. No one want you to get one as they will have to get it too. Get it and don't listen to them. Make yourself more valuable with the industry standard certification. Then look for a company that values it.

  37. An inch or two thick it seems. I just noticed and still need to get a good gauge on how thick it is around the rest of the patio.

  38. We talking 5 gal bucket, wheelbarrow, or a pickup truck bed worth? Bucket and I'm just hammering it out. Anything more and making a call.

  39. Only as much as there is any drop as the years go on. It’s not like suddenly there is a huge depreciation drop. Those cars have already depreciated the biggest amount they will at this point. Now they will just get slowly cheaper.

  40. You’re doing it wrong. You’re supposed to leave one hexagon in an awkward non-sequential, position that drives visitors insane

  41. My wife did our pattern in our shower. I swapped one piece just to drive here crazy. She never noticed, but it drove me nuts...
