Simple: some journalists understand that the basic thing that they have to offer the public is their credibility. Those journalists have gathered at news organizations that value and protect their credibility. They also know that when their news organization hires someone like Ronna McDaniel, who openly admits that she not only lied for DJT, but she CHANGED HER EFFING NAME so as not to offend him, it taints everything they have been working for I won't be watching NBC News-produced shows again until Rebecca Blumenstein and Carrie Budoff Brown and gone from NBC News and Cesar Conde is gone from NBC Universal. The internal and external reactions to this hiring were entirely predictable. If these three are so tone deaf as to have failed to understand the consequences of their decision, they should not be anywhere near the production of news content.
I was in line waiting to get into a beer event in Boulder like 5 years ago and a whole gaggle of boomers behind me were bragging about how much money they made and how millennials couldn't afford tickets to such events. What I found particularly disgusting was that one of them was a surgeon and was boasting about how much money she made on a short surgery she did a few days prior. These people literally are wealth hoarding dragons. They're classless.
