1. I rarely have no sympathy for an OP but I hate you so much. Your poor husband deserves better.

  2. I liked the first season of the Good Doctor but it became unwatchable to me because of all the politics/virtue signaling. If they had stuck with the original premise, I might have not dropped it.

  3. The streets are in a repeating alphabet. College-named streets run east-west north of first street. Plants are run north-south and are east of Ave A. Texas cities are between the lettered streets. The rest are American cities except some of the major streets, Slide Rd goes to Slide TX, Quaker idk, Indiana is obviously a state, University goes to the university.

  4. 4 ounces!? That is a lot. I haven't been around that culture in many decades but typically one would buy in ¼ ounce bags. And that would last you a couple of weeks. That's enough for 16 people.

  5. We have winter. Usually a couple of decent snows a year. Most years the lowest temperatures will be in the 20s. It snows, they cancel school or delay it. It melts a day or 2 later.

  6. Ive heard the heat isnt bad which is nice! How is the weather in general? Ive heard of dust storms, but do you guys get a ton of tornadoes there? Also how are the winters?

  7. We have a saying about the weather. If you don't like the weather in Lubbock, wait a minute, it'll change.

  8. I thought they blamed it on construction costs going up? The sign for the “future” expo center is still standing as of last Saturday.

  9. Simple solution. He brings the meat substitute of his choice and you throw it on the grill. Throw a whole potato on the grill for him too. Let him know which sides have meats etc. Don't eat the potato salad, it has mayonnaise and boiled eggs. Open a can of vegan beans and add some ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, and onions for some baked style beans.

  10. We can't keep up. We're getting a dozen every 2 days. Most end up in the free dryer.

  11. My grandson was about 13 when he heard his grandfather (my husband) referring to himself as Pappy. He's always called "Happy." It's so ironic. He's such a grump. He still calls him Happy.

  12. In your crock pot, cook a roast with peeled potatoes and carrots and two packets of Liptons onions soup mix and 4 cups of liquid (water is fine, but beef broth with a cup a sweet red wine is my favorite). Cook on low 5-6 hours. Eat the meal you made, save the leftovers on the fridge in the crock. This may require turning over the lid. Next day, discard the solidified fat if you want, shred or cut the meat, cut the leftover veggies, add undrained cans of corn, green beans, 2 cans diced tomatoes. You can add more potatoes and carrots if desired or any other veggies you like. Cook on low at least 3-4 hours (if you added more raw veggies, cook until they are cooked through). Congrats, you made beef veggie soup.

  13. Jeez, enough with the platitudes and bumper stickers pretending there are no bad kids. You being sanctimonious is not helpful.

  14. Yep! This is just practice for a bigger project I’m planning. Picture this: a quaint little guest room in my basement with DIY fixtures and custom furnishings entirely upholstered with tanned human flesh! It’s going to be so cute and cozy for the people I have locked up down there. 🥰 lolololol

  15. They’re not killing near enough prairie dogs. Shame about the owls thought.    Fun fact about the dogs, half the colonies in Lubbock are infected with bubonic plague.

  16. If Prairie Dogs looked more like the rats they are, they would have never been allowed to get so out of control. But they're so stinkin' cute.

  17. When the stop sign came out she should have stopped no matter where she was . I have a stop on a six-lane road. Everyone should stop when it deploys.

  18. That's so weird. We would never put a newbie as a sub driver. Or subdrivers have years of experience and know the city extremely well.

  19. Even if she is early, she is not supposed to leave early. It doesn't matter that she said be ready five minutes early. If she leaves, call dispatch. They should make her return.

  20. You can be on the clock without being on duty. If you are waiting on your group, and are free to get off the bus or take a nap, you are off duty.

  21. Are you traveling more than 150 air miles from your home base? If not, you're exempt from logging. Are you driving more than 8 hours straight or 10 hours total? Are you carrying out other duties while waiting for your group? If not, you are considered off duty during your off time. Take a nap before the return trip.

  22. They probably need a sleep study and will require a CPAP machine to continue driving. They may get suspended/fired, but in the end might be thankful for your intervention.

  23. This is so foreign to me. I've driven 30 years and never heard of cops ticketing a school bus--even though when I was in training I was told if I got one to bring it to them and they would pay it. Are there any businesses with a half-filled parking lot? Can you put out cones at the school? Is there no bus lane at the school?
