1. Idk I just think words should mean something. As for the spectrum argument- the vast majority of people aren't going fall head over heels for literally everyone they see. Most people are going to have specific standards they're looking for in a partner, and some people are going to be pickier than others, that's okay.

  2. And they do, which I’m trying to explain to you the meaning of but it feels like you’re not here to learn something and instead are staying comfortable in incorrect assumptions.

  3. Actual question, where is the line between ace/aro and allo? Like how much attraction do you have to feel before it’s no longer aromantic or asexual. Also how do they experience attraction differently to non-aros/aces?

  4. I’ll try to make this as comprehensive as I can.

  5. When you say icons, do you mean objects or things we would visually associate with butchness and being a lesbian?

  6. Not sure how unknown or well know they are, but Anomie are probably the best fit for what you’re looking for.

  7. My dear, I say this with the utmost support and love. Men don’t even notice the expired condiments in the fridge, let alone have the ability to discern the feel of one’s cervix lol. They can’t even find the clitoris, which is literally right there so I’m sure you’ll be just fine.

  8. I love how it works so well no matter the context. A night on the town? A lunch date? Premiering on the red carpet? It just works.

  9. Got the game at launch. Couldn’t get past the whole talk to Radzig on the hill part. Legitimately couldn’t progress. Broke the game completely. Had to wait for it to be patched out. I was a single save slot type of person back then. Living dangerously and the like. That means I had to start my game over and replay everything up until that point from scratch. At least I had foresight going back into the pestilence quest.

  10. I’m with you there. Gotta take each day as it comes, even when you’re really feeling that depression cloud. You’re still here and that’s a big effort and accomplishment.

  11. Not great but better than the last few days! Gotta take the positives whenever and wherever you can. A bit food insecure right now, so I’m just trying to get through the rest of the week until payday. Sending out love to all those here.

  12. I recently replayed Bangkok after not playing it since it’s release. I had to genuinely map out locations and mentally tag landmarks to figure out exactly where I needed to go to do exactly what I wanted to do. Felt like I had spent hours just getting through the one mission in a satisfying way.

  13. I grew up on 90’s metalcore and H8000, and you’ll find way more vocalists similar to his style than the opposite. I feel it’s mostly the younger crowd who aren’t used to hearing that style dunking on it.

  14. Makes me think of Bryan’s interview/Day in the life episode on Hardlore a few months back where he discusses the difficulties of getting so popular and now needing a barrier. You could tell Bryan has a hard time coming to terms with the fact that they need to somewhat divorce themselves from the hardcore live show etiquette (stagediving, crowd interactions/passing the mic, feeling ‘in the action’) they grown up in and love so much. I feel like this is why we’ve seen members move to side-projects (xWeaponx, Inclination) to keep this part of their lives alive while allowing KL to be the designated ‘intro’ band to new fans on bigger stages. Super interesting stuff.

  15. To this point, I saw KL talk about how when they’d play counting worms prior to their blow up, people would kill each other. Now that they’ve blown up, people just put their hands up and cheer.

  16. I’m around the same age as you and I can sympathise with where you’re coming from, even if I don’t fully agree.

  17. I’ll almost always say trans woman. That’s my reality and I feel comfortable in sharing that. Not to mention, I think being visible and open in such a way can hold importance and show others that there’s not one way of being a woman.

  18. I’m over here rationing cubes of frozen spinach for the rest of the week until payday because I literally have nothing else to eat outside a portion of sautéed spinach a day.

  19. My favourite part of the show was when harper was going "you want to help me? buy me some clothes so I don't have to show up to court looking like shit etc. Etc." To the principal (I'm paraphrasing here) and meanwhile she's got an absolutely immaculate and probably very expensive fit every time she's on screen.

  20. This. I think the show doesn’t do a great job of showcasing lower socio economic public school life while said students are wearing expensive street fashions.

  21. Being unapologetically butch and not being afraid of taking up space in the world

  22. Never underestimate how much learning, growth, and new experience comes with not constantly looking for a relationship. Learning to ‘be alone’ so to speak, and enjoy your own company (as well as the company of others platonically) can really do a lot of good.

  23. I’m on E so this doesn’t directly apply to me, but I’m really happy to see more people talking about this openly in butch spaces 🩷

  24. Damn why can't they just pay people properly for their work like ew. Didn't expect this from Megan (idk why). Hope he gets justice.

  25. It’s the ‘fuck you, got mine’ hyper individualistic mentality people get once they reach a level of fame and wealth, especially if they didn’t grow up with it.

  26. I just started reading it the other night. It’s already having a profound impact on me, and I’m only up to the second chapter.

  27. Henry is just the most 30 year old looking 16 year old. We gotta accept it now my friends.

  28. I’m sure it’ll look cool, but c’mon, this is a little weird, no? It’s essentially a slave branding
