I love this skin already, it has some sick voicelines. Don’t seem to notice any different discord or harmony voicelines. The coolest line I’ve gathered so far is an elimination one where he says “The weak do not have the privilege of choice.” Also has some cool respawn lines, too.
I think Tachy is beautiful and cool, but I still like Eve the most. Her design is cuter to me, and she looks really good in the outfits they designed for her (especially the bomber jacket + suit). Also, this may seem strange, but I really like how they gave her thicker eyebrows, just clicks for me and looks good on her.
Honestly the JQ mythic is better imo. The gun makes a whole other sound, tons of themed voicelines, the customization is pretty great, and there's lighting that comes out of her gun when you shoot it. The mercy skin would still be a great pick but I personally would get JQ first. In testing I only found one unique animation which was the rez and it was still great dont get me wrong, but it just felt underwhelming when compared to JQ.
It’s all subjective, I can see why you would like her, but JQs is one of the least interesting to me. I probably have less than 2 hours on since 2016 and I would rather have this mercy skin because of its design, lore, and voicelines.
More cheeky than goofy. I love her aesthetic and the evil theme. The voicelines are so cool. Probably equally on top with her Wargod skin as my favorite.
I really like the lore and it's a damn shame that Blizzard doesn't seem to care. These skins are awesome but I would have loved some story to go with it. Like are Tracer and Brigitte part of Talon just because? Or were they captured and brainwashed like Widowmaker?
Tracer joined because she was a part of the Overwatch experimental flight program and that’s how she got her time-displacement condition that she has in the normal universe. The difference is, Overwatch didn’t provide her with a Chronal Accelerator to keep her in time, Talon did. I’m not sure about Brigitte, but Torb may be out of the picture and she has a Knight / Squire relationship with Reinhardt in the base game, so him being a part of Talon may have influenced her to join.
I mean they’re different races. Why not just have them be childhood friends/work colleagues? People want platonic friendships, so this would be a good example
Please someone explain how this is "mirror universe"? I get Sym, the chaotic vibe of the Junkers is a good opposite of her personality, but Genji? How?
Sym and Zen friends in the base lore and are connected. Guess the logic is that she took Genji under her wing instead of Zen. Still, I think maybe having him as a Talon agent or null sector bot would’ve been better in terms lore and skin design.
I always imagined the quick and easy answer was a genji with hanzo’s story and vice versa. A genji who killed his brother hanzo with a bow and afterwards felt guilty. Basically older depressed human genji. Meanwhile hanzo was recovered by overwatch and turned into a bow wielding cyber ninja who then joined blackwatch.
That would be dope, but I think it’s different than that. Kiri and Hanzo also have Hashimoto skins so it looks like they belong to that clan and work for them.
The alternate game mode + this skin makes me wish there was a permanent alternate mode where they had the skill trees with different abilities for the characters where balance was less of a concern. The mercy staff energy blasts and Doomfist shield are really cool.
Well yes, but also being codenamed "No Mercy" is weird and "Merciless" more implies the lack of something and feels kinda lazy. Both of those offers feel lazy if I'm being honest.
What makes them more “lazy” than Vengeance? Merciless keeps with her naming convention while also being a subversion. I mean god how much more effort does titling her skin “Vengeance” take over that? If anything, Vengeance has a less negative or strictly evil connotation than Merciless does, which as the head of Talon, she’s supposed to be an evil killer. Mind you, I don’t think Vengeance is bad, but I take issue with the statement that it is especially more inspired or fitting than Merciless.
I don’t like the guidebook. It doesn’t fit the tone of the story. Maybe they could’ve reserved some quirky quips and levity for the sections involving Isidro or Puck due to that being partially their function in the story. But if I’m going to be honest the parts involving Wyald are just gross.
Last one is a little less funny considering it kind of casts the thugs in a lighthearted way even though they were literally about to sexually assault / and or rape the lady in the alley. Feels a little weird.
That literally happens in Bloodborne (have you seen the Logarius wheel / Amygdalan Arm Movesets?) and Bloodborne characters are even skinnier than your average Elden Ring character preset. When you swing colossal weapons in Elden Ring, you often drag them and you can tell your character is putting their whole body into the swing. And why is it so hard for you to suspend your disbelief considering the fantasy setting and the fact that due to the respective powers granted to the players (Blood Infusion / Echoes and Runes respectively) they are able to achieve such superhuman feats?
I don’t morally condemn the guy for having a Griffith tattoo, I think pre eclipse Griffith someone you could definitely find to be cool and admirable, albeit a bit Machiavellian. However, post eclipse the guy is literally sacrificed all his comrades to experience the most miserable deaths possible and raped his most loyal soldier in front of her lover just to spite him. I wouldn’t want a person like that inked on my skin.
Farnese, Isidro, and Schierke are interesting enough where I didn’t mind Puck’s sidelining to being comedic relief as well as Isidro. Farnese’s character development is especially beautiful, and seeing Guts rely on both her and Schierke and being grateful to them after being at his lowest for the longest during his hunts as the black swordsman was great.
Guts sexually assaulted Casca. He pinned her down, stuck his tongue into her mouth, and then bit down on her breast, leaving an actual cut in the shape of his teeth.
Nope. You’re not overleveled. You are using some pretty strong weapons, with the exception of the mantis blade, which is just alright. Those weapon upgrades seem just right for each boss, if not a little underupgraded.

Pretty much no mythic skin has a different ult line. They all just have a sound pitch change or something of that sort

Honestly...I care less about that, than the hope I nurse that Guts and Casca eventually will be OK.
Rereading Berserk after a few years hasn’t stifled my hatred for him, but for sure, Guts and Casca’s safety and well-being is paramount for me.
