1. If you're doing 2:26's then 2:20 is fast. It's all relative my man.

  2. I'd say 2.18 and under. 2.20 is common knowledge, 2.18 needs some slip angle.

  3. Whenever I'm being held up by a group of car fighting, usually.

  4. Not quite ACC, but I've seen top laptimes in a F1 league years ago from a guy using a keyboard.

  5. When, as a kid, I understood how bike brakes worked. Front off, rear on, then front on, rear off, and then both off in a descent, coming into an intersection. Still don't know what went through my mind and how I escaped without a scratch

  6. Noob question but how do you know where the limit is if it’s constantly changing?

  7. Feeling and knowledge. To get a feel for it, you could try setting up a free practice with standing water but dry and hot weather. The track will go from wet, to damp, greasy, green, etc. Start with dry tires and enough fuel for at least 30 minutes.

  8. not always. depends server to server, ive had Green 30min races, ive had 60min Fast races, and 20min Greasy post rain.

  9. There's a driving style where you use both brake and gas to balance the car around the corner, Jardier for instance does it a lot. I prefer coasting if needed.

  10. How can anyone think the BMW isn't to blame ? Clearly out of pace and going to be passed, he decided to make a late blocking attempt squeezing another driver off the track. I've seen penalties for the same attitude in different leagues.

  11. Penalty is a bit harsh. But it seems like you did try to follow that racing line even tho you were going 3 wide. I swear, turning that thing off enhances racing by a thousand. You have just so much more possibilities if you really understand the car/track combo.

  12. Il devient sobre ... Mais Il se sèvre de l'alcool est meilleur, car il pourrait très bien devenir sobre vestimentairement.

  13. Inside one if it were to be judged, but would I be the outside car I would hold no grudge since it's always very optimistic attempting a pass here. Always better off just waiting setting up proper corner and waiting for the straight.

  14. My concentration definitely goes after the pit, it also seems easy to fuck up your tires if you push to hard on the out lap. Which car are you using?

  15. Appart from staying off the kerbs on low tire pressure because of potential pressure loss, Baldwin says you don't have to be worried about graining on outlaps in ACC. Maybe it changed after some updates ? Not quite sure tho, seeing lots of high level races where tires really aren't cared for on outlaps, since pushing hard is the best way to heat them up quickly, apparently without downsides.

  16. If you're on fresh tires, with correct pressures, identical track conditions, and less fuel, it's weird indeed. Brake pads 1 are usually fine on 1 hour race. Even without new tires, pace usually remains the same since fuel load decreasing compensates for tire wear.

  17. We're blessed with the stunning graphics on this game, and you managed to capture and edit it with great style ! Very fitting tune also. That final overtake attempt tho ! I was thinking that it was way too optimistic ... thought for a second the other driver took avoiding action but eh.

  18. Racing incident, let me introduce you to the

  19. Trail braking is basically: braking and turning at the same time correct?

  20. Tires can only provide so much grip. Trail braking helps using all of it.

  21. Lol good point. I haven't noticed that I don't brake 100%. I think I need to fine tune the game tomorrow. 😅

  22. Aha, well this must mean you didn't look much at your replays before, this is key to improve tho ! Try and look closely at theses inputs when watching hotlaps videos and your replays, it will help :-)

  23. To each his progress rate I guess, but hundred of hours, definitely.

  24. How comes your first opinion is that "settings are wrong" when you can't match top laptimes lines after one day on a new sim, which is, by the way, widely regarded as the most realistic for GT3s ?

  25. It's all about anticipation. Knowing beforehand where you'll be affected by dirty air is key. Reacting to it will make you loose time, but if you anticipate you won't loose any time.

  26. I wonder if I take some distance before the high speed corner and focus on my exit will work. I did it (maybe in the wrong way) at Paul ricard but I've gained momentum at the wrong time and the guy always blocked me. 😂 really annoying to be honest

  27. might also be worth trying the default aggressive again, but with adjustments to rear ride height to tune the behaviour to your liking

  28. Yea, I would love that, but I just dont understand how it works.

  29. I found this guide to be extremely helpful :

  30. Exactly. Most times, learning a new track, I'll go default agressive. After I get consistent with it, I'll try a setup. This often shreds 2 seconds, but it's very sweaty. I'll take a break, and come back with the default : I'll match the time with ease.

  31. Oh I don't like that at all, it makes me anxious for some reason

  32. I was at times amazed and laughing at how anxious it made me feels, at other times gasping for air and turning my head away. Crazy. That's a first one ; usually only happens with fear of height type videos.

  33. Each car is only as good as fitting your driving style ! Differences comes along with tracks - how good are they on kerbs, on straight etc.

  34. interior crocodile alligator!!! 🎶

  35. Never thought I'd witness such a fitting context for this song
