No. You are horrendously wrong about this. Chocolate in particular is toxic as hell to birds. 25 grams will kill a parrot size bird quite quickly, and the ingredients which cause the problems do not get flushed from a birds system easily - mainly theobromine and caffeine. I.e consumption of chocolate over a shorter period of time, will absolutley kill a bird.

Chocolate is not good for birds at all if anyone is watching. (assuming that is chocolate coated)
