1. I think damage in general should remain unchanged for most of the cast (minus outliers like luke) but drive cancels should not be such universally good combo filler. I'm not talking about using drive cancel to convert off of a crouch m.k. or whatever btw. Yes that's strong, but where I think its really problematic is mid combo.

  2. Ive been playing trickster for most of my play-through and it works fine. I agree that trickster is worse than other classes. However that's just because the game is so easy that I might as well one shot everything rather than take no damage from anything and then have my pawns 3 shot them.

  3. I am confident this is a bug and seems to have come as a result of Capcom fixing the prior Classic control option select on wake up.

  4. I feel so vindicated I got hit by a DI from Kimberly like 5 times in a row yesterday and felt so annoyed that it wasn't coming out. I thought i was pressing it to early because her C.HP has so much blockstun lol.

  5. Same for me, 2060 with a higher than recommend CPU. At least the demo run fine for me, although it's only the character creator

  6. Most RE engine games I've played have been nicely optimized but the sf6 world tour mode is pretty bad for how it should be in comparison it other RE engine games. Not that it matters, that part of the game is terrible anyway and the actual fighting game part runs perfect. However it does show that RE is not infallible.

  8. I'm the same way but the nice thing about the DD2 creator, at least the way i used it, is that its pretty easy to make semi-nice looking characters.

  9. I have a pawn with some pretty gnarly burns on her forearms and an eye that is missing. She looks like a pretty tragic character. However, because I gave her the straightforward inclination, my head cannon is that she is a happy go lucky button pusher type of person.

  11. Yes, it crashed for me a couple times when making my pawn. You can press in the left stick to save partway through.

  12. I'm always confused by this question because the full input for dp is supposed to be 623. Like the last 6 is not even in the move list. I end on the 3 and literally (and I truly mean literally) never get super instead of dp.

  13. Imo perfect parry isn’t the issue and from “sport” perspective should be kept as is. I think the major hype killer to me is that once a character gets to 50% HP the next random cancelable button that hits will turn into a double drive rush lvl 3 combo to end the round. There should be harder scaling for those combos so there’s more opportunities for a sliver of life comeback which is always super hype

Personally I think the current overall damage situation is fine but am not really a fan of how for a significant portion of the cast the most damaging combo is essentially: button > drive rush > heavy button > heavy button > drive rush > Maybe something unique but for like 1/4 of the cast it is still just, heavy button > heavy button > special > level 3.

  15. I used to directly use the exe to open the game when I accidentally started file verification after a crash (it just takes forever). That was to get around the Larian launcher but it let me start the game during an update at one point, so unless something changed that should work.

  16. There is an area you can jump to just past the stairs you enter that area from that allows you to sneak up onto the high ground without the demons (devils maybe idk) noticing. That area is a nice choke point. Also make sure to move the bombs Yurgir drops away when you get the chance (doesn't cost an action just click and drag them).

  17. The same thing happened to me but i was able to fix it by going to camp with another party member while they were grouped and then restarting the game. Maybe you could try polymorph or something similar.

  18. I like equipment RNG a lot if its not too heavy handed because it gives me something unique to build around.

  19. Those protrusions at the top look like leaves to me. I would love a nature based faction that could maybe play into creeps in distinct ways from the other races.

  20. Do you use the d-pad because at least personally I hate the PS5 d-pad. It genuinely feels worse to me than some knock off 30$ switch controller I had in my closet(I only have the 70$ PS5 controller but I think the d-pad is the same).

  21. PvE stuff usually attracts way less annoying people (at least compared to PvP) so I would hope its at least in the 3vAI.

The beta access would be the most important part for me but I probably would not support at all if the required tier was more than around $60 USD (and even then I would probably be hesitant because the game will be free at launch). Not because I don't want to support the game; I'm just not made of money.

  23. Not to discredit Frost Giant but calling rollback an innovation stemming from Frost Giant is stretching it. Rollback has been around a very long time in fighting and fps games. The first fighting game that I know off the top of my head that had rollback was Skullgirls and that came out in 2012. I'm not saying Frost Giant is not innovating at all using rollback in an RTS, but rollback itself is not new.

  24. is there an option in training that alters the frequency of a replay on the target dummy? ive been using multiple replays of the same move but with different lengths in order to practice reacting against certain moves, but im hoping there's an easy workaround to this

  25. Do you mean frequency as in make one replay happen more often than another or the timing of the replays is changed? If the first one yea there is a setting for that. It's just an option in the replay section. I don't remember the button right now but it's labeled (I think its LP but I could be wrong lol).

  27. You might have to load a save from before they would have got the ability. This happens to me a lot when I am using an item that brings up that little side hotbar (which is where this ability would be). The only way I've found to get that part of the hotbar back when it disappears randomly is to un-equip and re-equip the item but you cant really do that here.
