1. I mean, if you generally go when tickets are $6, I don't see what you'd be getting out of it unless you buy a TON of concessions every single time. It's exactly one movie credit per month, which only works for one ticket regardless of price point - so you pretty much have to use them on the pricy shows to get real value out of it. You also get no ticket fees when buying online and 20% off concessions. Even with paying a ticket fee, that $6 ticket is going to be way less than $12.

  2. Where I live, there are no $6 movies except Tuesday during the day (which is not a time most people can go to the movies). They're all $10+ even during matinee otherwise. So, depending on where you live, it can be a much better deal.

  3. It kinda does, tho. It explains how the biology functions. Capillary action, how gravity effects the growth of our bones. Why is our skeleton the way it is? Because of the physics of what it takes to walk in Earth's gravity.

  4. I'm gonna need you to get all the way off my back about that. It's so the movie could happen. #RyanGeorge

  5. A clone is just that. A clone. You don't need sperm if it's all made in a lab using super future tech, as is present in the Horizon universe. Of all the things that are a stretch to believe, this is like bottom of the list. Technically, if you want to be pedantic, her father AND her mother are whoever Elisabet's parents are, genetically speaking.

  6. My body battery hits 5 almost every day by bedtime, despite waking up above 70 most days. So 14 doesn't seem particularly low for 19:14.

  7. Yes please tell us so I know whether to upvote or downvote.

  8. I'm 45. If they were drafting me, things are really in the shitter. I'd go, but don't imagine I'd be much use anywhere except behind a computer.

  9. It took me months and a mask switch before I got to the point that I didn't jolt wide awake. I still wake up a little sometimes, but I did before CPAP as well.

  10. In N’ Out, no doubt. You always know what that burger & fries is going to look like when you pick up your order and it’ll always be fresh.

  11. Hard disagree. Go check out the one in Ogden, UT and see if that holds. Worst burger I've had in my life.

  12. Any restaurant in an ultra touristy town is going to suck. Inelastic demand.

  13. Ok, sure. But saying in'n'out is always consistent except sometimes is a classic example of the no true Scotsman fallacy.

  14. I haven't found a solution to this. I've taken everyone's advice to no avail. The only game I've ever gotten motion sick from is Half-Life 2 way back in the day. I don't understand what is triggering me here. I played Zero Dawn just last month with no issue. Just finished Elden Ring as well. So it's not my hardware, and I can't find settings to alleviate my motion sickness in this game. My head starts pounding after just five minutes of play. It's very disheartening.

  15. None of those. Currently set at 5-14. My data shows that I tend to hang out around 7.

  16. Hades is one of the few games I've ever gone 100% on. Amazing game. Great story. Wonderfully replayable. Beautiful on the steam deck.

  17. 22 Jump Street is superior to its predecessor in every way.

  18. I disagree. They call themselves out for being a sequel so often it seriously stops being funny

  19. I loved all that meta humor, personally. I can't recall a movie with better meta humor than 22 Jump Street.

  20. I had dreamwear nasal pillows and they were loud AF. switched to resmed P10 and they're super quiet. So I think it depends on the ones you get.

  21. These are the air fit p30i so the tube is on the tope of the head which I like. But not if it's going to keep me awake

  22. Yeah could be that. Dreamwear was top of the head hose as well. The p10 comes out the front, but is way quieter for me and the tube doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would.

  23. I can't speak to the GPS accuracy, as I haven't done a head to head to comparison, but I have the 2X and would sell my soul for a flashlight on any future watch. I use it way more than makes sense and I absolutely love it.

  24. Pretty sure mine had a voiceover by Sylens.

  25. I have a Garmin Lily currently that I love! It tells me when I'm stressed and it was crazy when I saw the actually, in my face, no denying it anymore, effects my with stress was having on my body and health! I'm considering adding the Oura though and wondering if it's worth it? Your comment has me really second guessing it.

  26. If it helps, my Oura ring is in a drawer. My Garmin never leaves my wrist. For me, the Garmin is far more useful and doesn't have a monthly fee.

  27. I had it for a couple of years. It was really unreliable and though it didn't go out too often, when it did, it sometimes would be out for a full day or more. I wouldn't go back to them no matter the cost, personally. I have Xfinity now and I've never had an outage for more than a couple hours, and I think that's been once, maybe twice. Wave G/Astound was more like once a month.

  28. I disliked both witcher 3 and rdr, but love cyberpunk fwiw.

  29. I have a very specific mask that I found on Amazon that works well with CPAP. It hooks around your ears and is very thin but very opaque. It's called the FRESHME zero pressure sleep mask. It's pretty cheaply made and only lasted about 6 months before the ear strap broke, but it's also really cheap, so I don't mind buying two a year.

  30. It happens to me as well. I haven't found a solution. I ordered a new mask (Airfit P10) to see if it works any better for my side-sleeping use case.

  31. Okay -- following up as promised! I've had the P10 for about a week. It works MUCH better for me. For one, it's way quieter which is huge because a problem I had with the dreamwear is that the sound of my own inhalation would make it so I had trouble falling back asleep if I woke up in the middle of the night.

  32. Is that the one where Damon Wayans is the "champ" boxer with a massive gut? I remember it being funny but nothing else about it
