I don't know if I can agree with that statement. There are laws against public sex and the purchase of sex from humans. There are very strong laws about sexual harassment. Employment law and workers' rights allows employers to limit sexual activity of employees, in multiple ways. But that is usually by contractual agreement, not by law. It was funny back at start of Covid, someone asked on a subreddit relevant to my area of employment in my jurisdiction about watching porn on their lunchbreak. Someone with HR experience answered "If you are using a private device on uncompensated wifi in your residence with your laptop camera definitely not on during a time that is not included in your 37.5 hours a week you can do what you want". Including off-the-clock time with a non-human in a room where your acts are not visible doesn't meet any standard I know. I'm no expert, though, and I mostly only know Canadian law.
Even if these robots were real. They wouldnāt be able to afford them. Those advanced Japanese toy robots (non sexual) that are like pets run for about 3-5 thousand. A full human would be millions of dollarsā¦
