Describe why preserving a historic method of making something is sub-optimal? Its purpose is not to be as efficient as power tools, so that argument really cant be made effectively...nor is this man stopping others from using more modern methods, so the argument that he's hindering progress cannot be made.
So help me out here. Did the update break the ability to HAVE mods at all, or did it just break existing mods until the mod authors adjust to a new interface to mod the game?

is X4's menus more streamlined? that was my chief complaint of x3, that it was really complicated to do things, even common things such as docking.
With X4 you can play the game with a controller 90% of the time.

yeah there are some disagreeable UX elements in areas of the game.
long term wise fighting only bots and bugs will get boring, I have no idea why the illuminates was not in the game to begin with.

it broke the script extender mod, which lots of mods rely on.
Mod projects never succeed for a reason, best of luck.
Forgotten City was a pretty well done project.
