1. like all those rich people who get the composite decks.

  2. Composites do run hotter but the color matters more, a light composite color isn't that much hotter than a light wood color unless it's a very light wood like pine. My parents had one that was a light reddish brown and it got warm in the sun but never hurt us.

  3. They will also defend Hamas. And act like there’s only one party in the wrong with this war.

  4. ...no? Most of the comments being referred to are from right-wing trolls, not misinformed tankies. People like that want Gaza glassed over, they just also hate Israel for anti-Semitism reasons.

  5. I never get people who say coliseum instead of colosseum, the guy you’re responding to and the OP spell it right so how can you not? Same goes for Fremennik obviously but at least that’s a made-up word

  6. They're both correct. Coliseum is a regular noun, Colosseum is a proper noun. The Fortis Colosseum is a coliseum.

  7. Ecumenical keys can be stacked to avoid the frustration of dying and not getting to jump right back in, and the Nex bank can be used to circumvent kill count if you'll be grinding for a while. Nightmare offers no such niceties.

  8. Add a bank chest at nightmare like chambers of xeric

  9. I feel like a bank chest is a bit much but I think it would be much more inline with the rest of the game if Slepe had an accessible teleport and the Slepey tablet put you somewhere relatively close, but still a short distance away.

  10. IMO they intended to keep Kebbit swapping in the game. However, it was found you could get 360k/h xp by not doing Eagles Peak. That was both too much, and a bad incentive for account progression. The simplest fix was to remove Kebbit swapping.

  11. They could also change that stupid requirement instead... It was done to deter bots, which is probably not necessary now that hunter rumors cause the player base to passively supply red chinchompas much more so than before, reducing the price and profit incentive for those bots. It also didn't really work that well, bots can do quests.

  12. The last thing this community needs is an official incentive to grind maximum collection log slots. Encouraging players to compete in a grind that takes several human life times to complete on rate is not healthy, positive, or something to be celebrated.

  13. This is an odd sentiment. You could say this about literally any hiscore in this game, as many of the metrics have no cap and even the 200m accomplishments would be considered by many to fall into that "not healthy, positive, or something to be celebrated" category.

  14. Partly touched on this towards the end of the update - we know there are other things people want to see thrown into the mix, but we don't want to get into a loop of 'getting there' with what we've got and then adding 'just a few' more things, winding up in and endless feedback loop where the information becomes harder to keep on top of and we run into even more blog fatigue (which is something we're growing increasingly conscious of at the moment).

  15. I think it will be different to Giant's Foundry in that aspect as the only thing you need to keep an eye on is what potion your making, so hopefully it gives more focus on the game world and less on the UI.

  16. I think it would help minigames like Giant's Foundry if the UI put more information in world space instead of in a fixed spot on the UI, similar to how health bars and speech appears above our head.

  17. I use that or a similar plugin but I didn't know it could attach to the world objects, that's lovely! Definitely something they should consider for the base game.

  18. This post is mostly a joke, the rewards are good, but I do think that some of the rewards like potion storage and the pre-pot device should just be QOL improvements readily available to us with some more interesting rewards in their stead.

  19. I think you misunderstand why people avoid the water, mining watery veins is only like 30 seconds of afk whereas the normal veins are ~90 seconds afk time. The reason they arent joining you at a normal vein is because you have already started the depletion time for that vein and they want to minimize downtime and maximize predictibility of the next interaction window.

  20. As far as I can tell the benefit of the water is also negligible unless your mining level is very low.

  21. You've probably heard that space is expanding. Everything is getting farther away from everything else as time passes. If you rewind time, everything gets closer and closer together. This intuition inspired the idea of the Big Bang.

  22. Colo doesn't create money. It siphons money from the rich. Zombie pirates actually create money with their alch drops and raw money drops.

  23. That doesn't mean the bots aren't doing harm. If they're generating a shitload of sunfire splinters, that weakens the profitability for normal players.

  24. It's not really fair to judge any rate on the number alone, TTK matters just as much. Shamans have a pretty low TTK so its not surprising that the rate is in the thousands, but 1/5k was certainly too rare for something that is so critical for progression.

  25. I believe the new "Perilous Dancer" CA is effectively impossible without completing "High Hitter" on Eclipse Moon at the same time. There has been an issue with Eclipse Moon's shield phase where it always lands one of its attacks even when you're properly hidden behind the ball. It's one of the attacks immediately after the shield's first turn, I believe; you can tell it's not just a mechanics failure because everyone in the room gets hit by this one.

  26. It has, but I’ve always had the impression that prosperity theology was more a reaction against liberation theology.  “Justice in the world requires praxis and care for the poorest.” Versus: “We are doing well and are better off because we are faithful and God is showing us his favor,” which would seem to imply that there is a sort of justice to the status quo.

  27. I feel like these days, the word "justice" just refers to punishments for crime to a lot of those Americans.

  28. They're calling it an integrity change and justifying no poll for occult nerf through that. GG

  29. Balancing changes like these have always been integrity changes, that's also how the blowpipe nerf / ranged rebalance went back in the day.

  30. Dirt farm, because when you use the chunk loader for some reason the ploughs don't work in claimed chunks. So it can't be fully automated because you have to be near. Id like to see a dirt farm that can be automated with chunk loaders.

  31. I believe the settings menu for your claimed areas lets you decide how to handle fake players or whether to let them act in your claims or not

  32. Pardon my ignorance but why isn’t anybody running away? Are they harmless?

  33. Most people did lol, there's way more chairs than people in the photo. The few people left I guess are familiar with this type of crab.

  34. Nightmare completely misses the mark it went for. It was supposed to be a boss like Corp and GWD; this is nothing like GWD so we won't even go there, but lets compare to Corp.

  35. It would be difficult narratively to add any sort of stealth or subterfuge. Every Tarnished is walking around with an extremely obvious sign that they are Tarnished: our eyes don't glow gold with grace. Even if there were more of a society in Raya Lucaria to interact with, they would absolutely just check your eyes at the door and tell you to fuck off if you can't show them golden eyes.

  36. * Selen - Doesn't show up to defend you, but a conjuration of her attempts to. You are executed.

  37. You are allowed to play more than one video game, you know. Add OSRS to your roster if it seems fun to you, and then when you go to play games, play whichever game you prefer that day. It's the same as if you also played any other video game; you're not "abandoning the RS3 ship" if you install Helldivers or Minecraft or something.
