On the topic of soap operas: The Boy Next Door (2022) low budget soap w/ stilted acting, plot points that were introduced in one line of dialogue and never referenced again, and unrealistic situations for a film that seems to try and base itself in reality. Yet, I still got sucked up in the drama.

Is this so bad it’s good?
They’re absolutely trying to go more mainstream. They didn’t used to show up on the “homescreen”of my tv but, as of today they do.
Tubi tv in here downvoting to hide their mistake 😂
Please Tubi give me more
Thank you, Tubi. May I have another?
Tuesday’s Gone
Friday and Up in Smoke are not so bad they’re good. What?
Three “Bs”?
Boobs, buns, and bush!
It's pretty fun, in a super cheaper movie way.
Yeah, I think that adds to the charm for me. The fact that you can tell it was just a bunch of people who went and got wild for a month. Low production value just makes it all the more real.

To camp
Do you do predictions for The Fest in FL? Trying to figure out why I followed you AND sent you a chat saying I followed you. I just reset my email and password to be safe.
It had a budget of 1.8 million and it shows. I’m a fan of “let’s send this character to space” movies, but this is bad. However, Warwick’s campy performance and trying to imagine these actors keeping a straight (to video) face make it worth a watch.
It does beg the question why demons don’t ever possess house pets. Why only humans?
You’ve never met my ex’s cat
I’ve actually been keeping track of this:
bienvenue power bottoms!
I’m a side, thankyouverymuch
Buongiorno everybody!
I love this movie so much. It’s like an unintentional satire. So funny to get high and watch this. It’s been a while since I watched it but, there were a number of years of my life where it was watched regularly.
Based on a Kurt Vonnegut novel and starring Jerry Lewis and Madeline Kahn. The makeup/special effects add some bizarreness.
It's so wild going back and watching 80's sex comedies and just thinking, wow that used to make us laugh out loud or worse thinking you were totally going to do that when you got to college! But I do think it's good that we can realize those things should have never been ok now.
Honestly, that aspect is part of why I like watching old and/or old-bad movies. Seeing the time capsule of society and where we were at then. It makes it that much more interesting to me.
Is this the movie where the main character puts raw chicken breasts into her bra to make her boobs look bigger?
Correct
Uncle Jesse
This is definitely a ripper
The writer/producer on this is also the architect behind the Baby Genius movies and Karate Dog.
A great pedigree
There are some bad movies I don't like that deserve to be discussed because of baffling filmmaking decisions and confused tone. Mr Brooks is one that comes to mind.
I liked Mr. Brooks a lot. I have it on the dvd.
