1. You're making full use of the mechanics and it looks like you spent a lot of time thinking about it. Cool cosplay build.

  2. Yeah , part of why I was tempted to make this is just how much crafting is involved , it's a really solid system with a ton of very good items

  3. I find all of it really cool, but I’m having a hard time thinking about using consumables, it makes me anxious to use consumables if I loose fights and end up having to harvest materials again

  4. I’m one of those people who never gets to really make use of the crafting system cause I’m such a terrible material hoarder.

  5. Yeah but there is just like TOO much of it. I never really penetrated the surface. Really cool thing about this game is the WIDE range of playstyles available. I'm sure upon replay I can do something completely different and have a fresh experience

  6. Yep, that’s pretty much me. I tried playing Witcher 3 at least 3 times already and never could bring myself to finish it because gameplay wise it doesn’t feel good to me. I didn’t like the combat, magic system and the need to apply oils and shit before any major battle because without them the fights take forever. And the loot i found was bad. I played at least for 10 hours and explored a lot and I didn’t find interesting loot. Mainly materials and things to sell or bring back to the smith for crafting.

  7. I hated Witcher 3 at first as well. The combat was ridiculous, the way talking to people was set up was also stupid, I even hated Gwent. Something switched on though and I buried myself in it for 200 hours and it’s one of the best games I’ve ever played. Gwent became my jam even lol.

  8. Yeah it’s a bit clunky, took me 2-3 attempts to get into the game. But glad I stuck at it. It’s a bit slow in parts and others but overall you get used to the combat mechanics, find which consumables are effective and get drawn into the storyline. The part I really liked was how on quests it had good log details and short instructions, with a map and on screen instructions on how to get there. I might have long breaks between play and this made it really easy to pick it up and l get things moving again. Even played the expansions and really enjoyed those.

  9. Witchers are professional monster hunters, and a social caste of sorts. To become a Witcher, one is subjected as a child to a brutal (and often fatal) process of genetic mutation that grants them enhanced strength, speed, reflexes, senses, and the ability to survive the consumption of powerful potions that would kill a human being.

  10. This might be my next play through idea. Well done. Kinda disappointed you didn’t use the winds howling line at stormveil though.
