1. She had epilepsy that we managed pretty successfully for over 7 years. I’m fortunate to have been chosen to care for her. But the presence of her filling the room with her ears perked high and her attentive gaze and smile will be missed more than I am able to express.

  2. Oh no....I'm Soo sorry for your sudden loss. It's always so painful. You have an entire community of support here.

  3. Really sorry to hear. Mine has seizures periodically, didn’t know this could happen. Bostons really know how to give and take a lot of love.

  4. Omg sweet baby Lucy:( she lived a long and I am sure happy life knowing so much love and affection! If only we where all blessed enough to die in the arms of the person that loves us the most. I have had two of my girl Bostons die in my arms and I promise you I know exactly how you feel. When Phee died our boy dog Velcro was right there and watched. It was so flipping sad. I am so sorry for your loosing your physical friend. I am sure you know that you can always see her in every dogs eyes now. Rest easy little mamma Lucy. Sweet girl!

  5. Omg. I’m so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful girl! I have no doubt though that you two will meet again some day ❤️

  6. She left the world in her favourite place. We all have to go someday, and you can’t ask for more than that. You have her the best life that you could, and that’s all you can do, and I’m sure it was good enough for her. So sorry for your loss.

  7. I'm so sorry for you loss. Lucy was a beauty and I'm sure she was the best girl ever. The same thing happened to my 10 yrs old Boston. She passed away in her sleep over night. May they both rest in peace.

  8. What a beautiful girl 💔 I’m so sorry for your loss 🥺she was probably exactly where she wanted to be when she crossed the rainbow bridge. My BT Louise & I are sending you all the hugs!!!

  9. I’m so sorry. What a beautiful girl. I lost my boston in a similar way when she was almost ten. It was so hard, I feel for you truly.

  10. No, no no no phew Lucy. Where did you go? I’m sorry. This might not help, but think of things she did that annoyed you. My 15 year old blind deaf boston kept me up all night sometimes 🤣🤣🤣 makes me laugh thinking about her. She was a lovely mess. Lucy loved you more than all the stars in the sky. You got this! I am really sorry 💗

  11. I’m sooo sorry for your loss. Rest well Lucy. Might I also suggest a therapist, that shit is soooo hard and you need all the support you can get.

  12. I have to bring my 12 year old Boston in tomorrow (cancer). I hope the love of my life finds Sweet Lucy to romp around with over the rainbow 🌈

  13. Same thing happened to me. Started happening on Monday, died in my arms on Friday. It was probably the worst day of my life so I feel you pain. And I’m so happy my wife and step daughter were on vacation and didn’t have to live through it. Just gotta remember the good times.

  14. I actually let my wife sleep through it. I didn’t want her to have to experience the trauma. LOL m sorry for your loss as well. Something so special about those little Angels. ❤️

  15. Oh no I am so so sorry 😞, I can’t imagine your pain. My eyes are swelling up with tears as I type this. You were there for her right until the end , she wasn’t alone, and she always felt safe in your arms I hope that brings you some peace. I am praying for your heart and your thoughts. I am so sorry .

  16. This makes my heart hurt. Everyone give your bostons a little extra love today in honor of this sweet girl. Sorry for your loss op

  17. I’m so sorry for your baby, she was beautiful. Cherish the memories and think of her fondly. So, so sorry for your loss. Nothin and no one could ever replace your special Boston.

  18. Oh my gawd that sounds utterly horrible. I am so, so sorry. We lost our first Boston to seizures. She was 5. The first one came out of nowhere and I was certain she was going to die bc it was so bad. She lasted about 8 more months but it was an awful progression. My heart goes out to you. I can imagine how hard it was for you, but so grateful she had you to hold her. 💙

  19. I've had Boston all my life. Energy never dies it just changes form. When you hear a faint bark, that is Lucy close to you. When you catch a movement out of the corner of your eye that reminds you of her, it is. When out of the blue a playful memory pops in your head.

  20. Such a tragic loss and I genuinely feel for you. I dread the day that we lose our beloved 11 year old little girl Lexi. You might take some comfort in knowing that you gave her the best life possible - and in knowing she will be there to greet you on the other side with a huge smile on her face!

  21. Our condelences, I can think of no better way to say "I love you" than dying in the arms and with those whom I love and love me.

  22. I completely understand that perking of the ears. Our chiweenie, PJ passed this March and that instant ear perkiness is something I always think about when I think of him which is daily. He passed at 11 from a liver tumor. Hang in there, doesn’t get easier but you we’re both blessed with each other.

  23. Thank you. We love you too. Honestly I am completely awe struck blown away by the outpouring of love from this community. Boston parents past and present should probably take over all Governments across the globe, except we probably wouldn’t get much done because we’d be too busy playing with our tiny angels.

  24. So very sorry for the loss of your best girl 😢 sending lots of internet hugs 🫂 and well wishes of peace and comfort during this sad time 🙏🏻❤️

  25. I would like to thank everyone who commented on this post and thank everyone who gave it an upvote. It really means the world to me that so many kind people took a moment out of their day to share some kindness with me and my family. This is one of the hardest losses I’ve experienced as an adult. It truly means so much to me that so many of you reached out. I can still feel her presence in my home. I know she would be beyond thrilled to receive so many wonderful compliments and to experience the compassion you’ve all shown me. ❤️

  26. We are here for you anytime. I’ve seen a few posts of passed love ones so if it helps at all, feel free to continue to share the loved life she had ❤️ hoping you and your family are as well as can be during this time 🙏🏻❤️
