I just celebrated 7 years on Reddit, with the last 4-5 years of it being on Apollo. I have yet to find a single app that even comes close to Apollo in terms of quality, and ease of use. I use this app for almost everything. However, if Apollo goes offline, so will I.

Not sure why you're bumbed by this news? The show has essentially become a run of the mill sports show that Pat famously claimed to be against when they started. Hot takes, sensationalism, the only thing they're missing is the angry old white guy with the flaming hot terrible takes.
It’s bittersweet. When I first started watching the show there was a cardboard cutout of Steve Austin behind him and the production value was NOWHERE near what it is today. It was still great though because it was and has always been so genuine. Sure the boys have hot takes, and a lot of qualities of a run of the mill sports show but what’s set Pat & the boys apart is their ability to come across genuine & relatable to their audience all while adding diverse & unique personalities across the board. They have nearly no filter and do a great job talking and sometimes even making jokes about taboo topics that other run of the mill sports shows often dance around (ie Deshaun Watson, Brett Favre, etc). It’s a BIG part of what’s made this show so great for so long. Ive been around to see all the set moves, show additions, and just the overall growth of the show and it’s been an amazing sight to see just how far they’ve come from where they started. I’m super proud of him & all the boys. They deserve to be recognized and paid for all the hard work they’ve done and will continue to do. However I would also be lying if I said I wasn’t fearful that ESPN might put an end to a lot of the small things that made this show so great for so long.
I don’t quite understand why pat would give up a $30M/yr from FanDuel to move to espn. FanDuel didn’t care about any oversight of the show, and now it’s being reported that he’s going to be making $10M/yr at espn? Not sure how that makes any sense
